Combining classic post-and-beam structure with energy-efficient solutions, BONE Structure delivers a flexible, durable, and sustainable product. “Building construction technology is so far behind, and we haven’t really progressed,” says Brunn, “so we were excited by the prospect working with BONE Structure.”
Jan Neiges, CMKBD with NKBAThis tall wall for the fireplace had art niches that I wanted removed along with the boring white tile border around the fireplace. I wanted a clean and simple look. I replaced the white tile that surrounded the inside of the fireplace with black glass mosaic tile. This helped to give the fireplace opening a more solid look.
Schloegel Design Remodelhe vaulted ceiling creates a grand feeling in the room while the warm hardwoods, beam, and stone veneer on the fireplace give off warm and cozy vibes. The large Marvin windows and two-sided fireplace add to the rustic overtone by bringing the outside in. Our client’s furnishings added an eclectic air to the rustic vibe creating a room with a style all its own.

H2D Architecture + DesignThis living room was opened up with the help of a two-sided fireplace that helps ensure connection between the living and dining rooms. The use of a slat wall at the stairs also creates a more open feeling and allows light to pass through the spaces.

The mostly solid wall facing the street, in keeping with the existing architecture of the home. Breakfast room with Wet Bar beyond connects to the existing and new parts of the house.

Lucy Johnson Interior DesignThis homeowner of a Mid-Century house wanted to update the Fireplace finishes and add seating, while keeping the character of the house intact. We removed the faux slate floor tile and the traditional marble/wood mantels. I added recessed cans and a Designer light fixture that enhanced our modern aesthetic. Dimensional stone tile on the fireplace added texture to our subtle color scheme. Large drywall spaces provided background for any type of artwork or tv in this airy, open space. By cantilevering the stone slab we created extra seating while enhancing the horizontal nature of Mid-Centuries. A classic “Less Is More” design aesthetic.
