Synergy Design & ConstructionThe barn doors are an elegant solution to hide and reveal the TV. They add to the farmhouse decor when the TV is hidden, and conveniently slide out of the way when open. The custom, built-in shelving matches the cabinetry in the adjacent kitchen.
Heacock builders inc.This is a total renovation of an existing building. The walls are composed of inset cherry trim with drywall panels opposed to plaster. This reduced the cost and added the original look of the building. Built-in bookcases are made of natural cherry and the floors are random width pine.
St John DesignsWe opened up the family room space to the kitchen by framing out five pass-thru windows. The walkway to the kitchen is framed with modern custom shelving to house my gallery finds. The stained glass pieces are a collection of our travels. The antique airmore in the corner serves as our coffee station as well as our charging station.

Mussman Design AssociatesAFTER. The Mrs. bought a big screen t.v. for for her husband for Xmas. Having no where to put the t.v., he built a make shift table and put a blanket on it. Problem solved, right? Not so much. They contacted Stan and Andrea Mussman with Mussman Design to design and install new family room cabinetry, fireplace, paint, crown, drapery, paint and accessories. Whereas before the family had no space for the children's toys, now there is ample space to tuck the toys away. Chic By Design, LLCThis room overlooking the lake was deemed as the "ladies lounge." A soothing green (Benjamin Moore Silken Pine) is on the walls with a three-dimensional relief hand applied to the window wall with cascading cherry blossom branches.

Davis Tamburin Inc.This Great room, featured in Best of Design Today by Shiffer Publishing, showcases our clients taste. We covered the sectional in a soft damask pattern. To keep it formal, we place a bullion fringe at the base of the skirt. In lieu of a coffee table, we chose a pair of painted tea tables with a claw foot base. Opposite them are a pair of skirted ottomans with tassels on the corner. Between the windows we placed a series of asian prints with a pagoda candle holder between. The window treatments which are swags and jabots with side panels, are a silk damak in celadon with a contrasting boarder.
