Highland Builders LLCOpen concept with a stoned corner hearth and mantel floor to ceiling fireplace with a large transom window brings natural light into this charmed family room. Innovative Design BuildOur clients wanted a space to gather with friends and family for the children to play. There were 13 support posts that we had to work around. The awkward placement of the posts made the design a challenge. We created a floor plan to incorporate the 13 posts into special features including a built in wine fridge, custom shelving, and a playhouse. Now, some of the most challenging issues add character and a custom feel to the space. In addition to the large gathering areas, we finished out a charming powder room with a blue vanity, round mirror and brass fixtures.
Landmark HomesThis charming 2-story craftsman style home includes a welcoming front porch, lofty 10’ ceilings, a 2-car front load garage, and two additional bedrooms and a loft on the 2nd level. To the front of the home is a convenient dining room the ceiling is accented by a decorative beam detail. Stylish hardwood flooring extends to the main living areas. The kitchen opens to the breakfast area and includes quartz countertops with tile backsplash, crown molding, and attractive cabinetry. The great room includes a cozy 2 story gas fireplace featuring stone surround and box beam mantel. The sunny great room also provides sliding glass door access to the screened in deck. The owner’s suite with elegant tray ceiling includes a private bathroom with double bowl vanity, 5’ tile shower, and oversized closet.
Alison Giese InteriorsA prior great room addition was made more open and functional with an optimal seating arrangement, flexible furniture options. The brick wall ties the space to the original portion of the home, as well as acting as a focal point.
AOME ArchitectsDaylight now streams into the living room brightening the shaded forest location.

Belltown Design LLCRefreshing the fireplace was high on our to-do list! The fireplace is now a focal point in the house, and with this overhaul, it's newly crafted, dark wood mantel, Roycroft Green painted brick (by Sherwin Williams), and handmade tiles from Clayhaus are just the right elements to make this statement. These homeowners loved the Gustave Klimpt "Tree of Life" and we made the room shine with refinished hardwood flooring and the wood work refresh throughout.
