A door with a mirror inlay is the entrance to this bathroom. The white, hexagonal Carrera marble floor combines beautifully with the white subway tiles on the wall and the Carrera marble countertop. The built-in storage cabinet with wavy glass was built right into the wall, maximizing space and adding storage. What started as an addition project turned into a full house remodel in this Modern Craftsman home in Narberth, PA.. The addition included the creation of a sitting room, family room, mudroom and third floor. As we moved to the rest of the home, we designed and built a custom staircase to connect the family room to the existing kitchen. We laid red oak flooring with a mahogany inlay throughout house. Another central feature of this is home is all the built-in storage. We used or created every nook for seating and storage throughout the house, as you can see in the family room, dining area, staircase landing, bedroom and bathrooms. Custom wainscoting and trim are everywhere you look, and gives a clean, polished look to this warm house. Rudloff Custom Builders has won Best of Houzz for Customer Service in 2014, 2015 2016, 2017 and 2019. We also were voted Best of Design in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 which only 2% of professionals receive. The master bath is a true oasis, with white marble on the floor, countertop and backsplash, in period-appropriate subway and basket-weave patterns. Wall and floor-mounted chrome fixtures at the sink, tub and shower provide vintage charm and contemporary function. Chrome accents are also found in the light fixtures, cabinet hardware and accessories. The heated towel bars and make-up area with lit mirror provide added luxury. Access to the master closet is through the wood 5-panel pocket door.

This 1927 Spanish Colonial home was in dire need of an upgraded Master bathroom. We completely gut the bathroom and re-framed the floor because the house had settled over time. The client selected hand crafted 3x6 white tile and we installed them over a full mortar bed in a Subway pattern. We reused the original pedestal sink and tub, but had the tub re-glazed. The shower rod is also original, but we had it dipped in Polish Chrome. We added two wall sconces and a store bought medicine cabinet. Photos by Jessica Abler, Los Angeles, CA

This bathroom is what dreams are made of – astonishing views, marble floors, and a floor plan big enough to do cartwheels in (which I would totally do if this were my bathroom). Built in 1942 on the top of View Ridge, our client purchased this home in 2012 and decided to remodel it in 2017. We gave this beautiful home a well-deserved "facelift," if you will, and designed a second story consisting of a primary suite and rooftop deck, a walk-in closet, ensuite laundry, 180-degree views, and french doors opening up to the deck. But the real show stopper is the luxurious primary bathroom! Quartz counter tops, custom cabinets, light blue painted walls, a heavenly soaking tub, a large walk-in shower, and a basketweave Carrara marble tile rug make this the master of all bathrooms. We added an upholstered bench and long runner to soften the finishes and create a sophisticated, feminine oasis. Take a look below to see for yourself! ---Project designed by interior design studio Kimberlee Marie Interiors. They serve the Seattle metro area including Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Medina, Clyde Hill, and Hunts Point.
