Kimberlee Marie InteriorsThis 1950s home got a major update and addition. It went from a modest three bedroom, two bath house to a beautiful five bedroom, four bath house. Our clients were outgrowing their home but loved their neighborhood and didn't want to move. So they decided to modify their existing home to bring it up to speed with their family's needs. The main goals were to enlarge the main living spaces and make the floor plan more open. This was primarily achieved by adding a second story which allowed new bedrooms to be created, freeing up space on the main floor for a larger kitchen, dining room, and living room. The soothing creams, blues, grays, and warm wood tones used throughout help make this home inviting, and the craftsman details add charm and character, ensuring our clients will be proud to call this space "home" for years to come.

Everything HomeOur Carmel (Indiana) design-build studio transformed this dated home into a vibrant, cheerful space using custom furniture and thoughtful decor. A beautiful console table and artwork were added to the entryway to set the tone for the rest of the house. We updated all the furnishings in the living space, creating a bright, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere. The dining room was given a sophisticated look with elegant wallpaper and statement lighting, which added the perfect finishing touch.

Zola European WindowsThe site was the main point of inspiration for this home which features Zola Thermo Clad windows and doors. Located on a steep site with dramatic views, the house design takes cues from the surrounding topography. The house seeks to integrate into the landscape in a respectful way. It is set into the slope of the ridge, the building “steps down” working to become part of the landscape rather than be an intervention in opposition. The shed-roofed volumes are oriented to mimic the slope of the ridge and designed to provide solar shading. The main living space opens to spectacular landscape to the south and west – sweeping views of golden rolling hills, city lights, and is a perch to watch coast weather movement. On the north side the building is carefully shaped, turning to meet the edge line of a mature oak forest, creating an intimate, protected, courtyard.
Pamela Sandler ArchitectDesigned to maximize the views of Stockbridge Bowl, there are views from every room. Creative space planning provides for a kitchen/dining area, living room, home office, two fireplaces, three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Built-ins for work spaces, storage, display and niches for sitting optimize all available space.
