White Wood KitchensThis storm grey kitchen on Cape Cod was designed by Gail of White Wood Kitchens. The cabinets are all plywood with soft close hinges made by UltraCraft Cabinetry. The doors are a Lauderdale style constructed from Red Birch with a Storm Grey stained finish. The island countertop is a Fantasy Brown granite while the perimeter of the kitchen is an Absolute Black Leathered. The wet bar has a Thunder Grey Silestone countertop. The island features shelves for cookbooks and there are many unique storage features in the kitchen and the wet bar to optimize the space and functionality of the kitchen. UserThis butler's pantry includes a second dishwasher, bar sink, pass through to the kitchen as well as a full height broom closets.
Kitchen Design ConceptsThe builder we partnered with for this beauty original wanted to use his cabinet person (who builds and finishes on site) but the clients advocated for manufactured cabinets - and we agree with them! These homeowners were just wonderful to work with and wanted materials that were a little more "out of the box" than the standard "white kitchen" you see popping up everywhere today - and their dog, who came along to every meeting, agreed to something with longevity, and a good warranty!
The cabinets are from WW Woods, their Eclipse (Frameless, Full Access) line in the Aspen door style
- a shaker with a little detail. The perimeter kitchen and scullery cabinets are a Poplar wood with their Seagull stain finish, and the kitchen island is a Maple wood with their Soft White paint finish. The space itself was a little small, and they loved the cabinetry material, so we even paneled their built in refrigeration units to make the kitchen feel a little bigger. And the open shelving in the scullery acts as the perfect go-to pantry, without having to go through a ton of doors - it's just behind the hood wall!

With a pot filler, built-in shelves for spices and plenty of dark gray cabinets for storage, a modern chef has so many tools close at-hand.
Richmond Hill Design + BuildThis gorgeous renovation has been designed and built by Richmond Hill Design + Build and offers a floor plan that suits today’s lifestyle. This home sits on a huge corner lot and features over 3,000 sq. ft. of living space, a fenced-in backyard with a deck and a 2-car garage with off street parking! A spacious living room greets you and showcases the shiplap accent walls, exposed beams and original fireplace. An addition to the home provides an office space with a vaulted ceiling and exposed brick wall.
