Che Bella Interiors Design + RemodelingOur clients were looking for a bright color palette for their daughters nursery. A bright floral-print fabric in fuchsia and green became the starting point for the design, and was used to cover a cornice board above the window. Che Bella Interiors also had an artist paint a whimsical tree design on the wall behind the crib. The couple was able to purchase their fuchsia chair secondhand - a great find! The clients grandmother got wind of the project and created a quilt to match the room as a surprise for the parents to be.
While our clients were on a budget, they were able to use resources from family members to pull the room together - which is a great way for the family to be involved with their first grand daughters room!

VM Concept Interior Design StudioA colorful farmyard was the theme for this little boy’s nursery. The trompe l’oeil mural painted on all four walls and the ceiling was designed to be visually stimulating but pastoral and calming as well. Light fluffy clouds hang in the clear blue sky, while various friendly farm animals roam the idyllic countryside and reside in the barn. The furniture was not only selected for its color palate but also to grow with the child.
Curated NestThis ultra feminine nursery in a Brooklyn boutique condo is a relaxing and on-trend space for baby girl. An accent wall with statement floral wallpaper becomes the focal point for the understated mid-century, two-toned crib. A soft white rattan mirror hangs above to break up the wall of oversized blooms and sweet honeybees. A handmade mother-of-pearl inlaid dresser feels at once elegant and boho, along with the whitewashed wood beaded chandelier. To add to the boho style, a natural rattan rocker with gauze canopy sits upon a moroccan bereber rug. Mustard yellow accents and the tiger artwork complement the honeybees perfectly and balance out the feminine pink, mauve and coral tones.
Mattson & CompanyThis nursery was a low-budget, DIY job. The idea was to create a space that both baby and momma could be comfortable in, and enjoy spending a lot of hours in (particularly in the first few months!). The theme started as "sophisticated gender neutral with subtle elements of whimsy and nature" - and I think we achieved that! The space was only 8' x 10', so storage solutions were key. The closet drawers and side table were both (very worn) antique pieces that were given a new life!
Romina FurnitureThe robust form of Ventianni design, generous surfaces and right angles is soften by the addition of acrylic handles. A changing station to dream of. The wall pattern continues throughout the room and complements the white shades for a happy and bright space.
