Brass Hill DesignDesigned for a proper little gentleman, this baby boy's room features an array of soft textures from the sheepskin throw and cowhide rug, to the ponyhair pillows and a nubby jute rug that can take plenty of abuse. A menagerie of friendly animals litter the room including an oversized stuffed elephant and a pair of bunny lamps flanking the crib. Echoing the home's Arts & Crafts architecture, the walls are dressed in a classic Morris & Co. wallpaper.
Elza B. Design, Inc.I designed a sophisticated, soothing room for a little girl. The goal was to make it whimsical enough but not so cute she could not grow into it. Notice the use of plants, animals and landscapes as a tool to create a peaceful environment. Large oil paintings evoke dreamy landscapes, the acanthus plant stripe of the grass cloth wallpaper makes one feel surrounded and safe. Birds, elephants and butterflies are part of the magical decor. Lots of texture and patterns create interest. Finally, old is blended with new (antique bird illustrations, old pine chest, modern crib, etc) to create an eclectic and inviting interior.

Kathy Kuo Designs IncOur design team based the overall color scheme on the existing floral wallpaper that the client had as a backdrop for the crib. From her walls, we drew hints of blush pink, moss green, and ivory and incorporated those as accents through decors, pillows, throws, and rugs.
UserFor this family home we were inspired by a ‘boutique hotel’ modern aesthetic. Creating playful, colorful moments throughout the home with punches of chartreuse, purple, and peacock blue along with geometric patterns, this space becomes a sophisticated yet funky extension of the homeowners.
