About the Owner I Lauren Baldwin
Lauren’s desire to conceptualize extraordinary surroundings, along with her ability to foster lasting relationships, was the driving force behind Hallowed Home’s inception. Finding trends far too underwhelming, she prefers to craft distinctive spaces that remain relevant.
Specializing in dark and moody transitional interiors; Lauren’s keen eye for refined coziness, coupled with a deep admiration of fine art, enable her unique design approach.
With a personal affinity for classic American and stately English styles; her perspective exudes a rich, timeless warmth.
Despite her passion for patrons that aren’t ‘afraid of the dark’; she is no stranger to a myriad of artistic styles and techniques. She aims to discover what truly speaks to her clients - and execute.

I designed and painted the silhouettes in this soft yet bold nursery for Atlanta designer Dawn Kines in Nashville. We really loved the way the whole room turned out. It has such a wow factor when you walk into the room and yet it has a very soothing vibe as well. Visually arresting without being too overpowering. The sunlight streaming in through the white shears is lovely. This room will stay relevant for many years. The color palette is unusual for a nursery and combined with the stripes and silhouettes looks amazing. A design like this would also make a great family tree in a den, bedroom, stairwell or home office as well. A tree of your life concept. Paint colors are Sweetbriar and Green Crystal by Porter Paints. Go to ppgporterpaints.com to find a local retailer and to see samples of the colors. Hi-Hide interior flat. The stripes are 18" and 9". Would also work at 16" and 8".
Mattson & CompanyThis nursery was a low-budget, DIY job. The idea was to create a space that both baby and momma could be comfortable in, and enjoy spending a lot of hours in (particularly in the first few months!). The theme started as "sophisticated gender neutral with subtle elements of whimsy and nature" - and I think we achieved that! The space was only 8' x 10', so storage solutions were key. The closet drawers and side table were both (very worn) antique pieces that were given a new life!
