Northworks Architects + PlannersSet along a winding stretch of the Guadalupe River, this small guesthouse was designed to take advantage of local building materials and methods of construction. With concrete floors throughout the interior and deep roof lines along the south facade, the building maintains a cool temperature during the hot summer months. The home is capped with a galvanized aluminum roof and clad with limestone from a local quarry.
Angie Keyes CKBDThis Condo has been in the family since it was first built. And it was in desperate need of being renovated. The kitchen was isolated from the rest of the condo. The laundry space was an old pantry that was converted. We needed to open up the kitchen to living space to make the space feel larger. By changing the entrance to the first guest bedroom and turn in a den with a wonderful walk in owners closet.
Then we removed the old owners closet, adding that space to the guest bath to allow us to make the shower bigger. In addition giving the vanity more space.
The rest of the condo was updated. The master bath again was tight, but by removing walls and changing door swings we were able to make it functional and beautiful all that the same time.
Pineapple House Interior DesignHis-and-her zones in the master bath hold separate water closets and light-stained oak vanities with louvered drawer fronts, giving a coastal nod and balancing the more formal, modern elements. In the no-threshold shower, the knee wall supports a floating bench and two toiletry niches for supplies.

The corner shower has made way for a spacious design, and those dated green vanities? Swapped for a timelessly elegant vanity, custom cabinetry, and a square tile that raps around this stunning refresh for our wonderful client.
Progressive Design BuildWe gave this primary bathroom a stunning makeover with new cabinetry in a gorgeous multi-layer painted finish, complete with rollouts and extra storage. To create balance and beauty, we covered the soffits with the same material as the cabinetry.
For a cozy vibe, we painted the upper portion of the room in a darker tone, adding warmth and character to the 14′ high ceilings.
The makeover continued with new light-colored quartz countertops and 24″ x 48″ porcelain tiles, giving the space a modern touch. We stacked the tiles for a sleek, updated feel.
The pièce de résistance? Behind the elegant Victoria and Albert 6′ free-standing tub, we installed an accent wall adorned with Agate Taiko opaque glass tile in the color ‘Lucca’, serving as the ‘jewelry’ of the room. This centerpiece was complemented with luxe gold plumbing fixtures and a beautiful matte gold finish chandelier above the tub.
In the shower, we kept the same footprint but made some adjustments for functionality, moving the main shower head to the opposite wall and adding a handheld shower head on a slide bar.
BRÜNING INTERIORSKleines aber feines Gäste-WC. Clever integrierter Stauraum mit einem offenen Fach und mit Türen geschlossenen Stauraum. Hinter der oberen Fuge wird die Abluft abgezogen. Besonderes Highlight ist die Woodup-Decke - die Holzlamellen ebenfalls in Eiche sorgen für das I-Tüpfelchen auf kleinem Raum.
