The spacious double vanity also features a seating area, ideal for capturing the natural light as you go through your morning routine. The large walk-in shower features dual showerheads and discreet shampoo nook cleverly situated behind the pony wall to keep clutter hidden. In its original state, this bathroom had a large soaking tub that hadn’t been used in years and since they had the space, the client was eager to transform it into a large walk-in shower which better suited their lifestyle. A beautiful mosaic tile was selected for the accent walls and lends dimension to the space while perfectly marrying the other material selections. This bathroom achieved the homeowner’s dream of having a spa-like oasis in their home.

The vanity was too small for a couple of growing kids, the shower was a corner shower and had a storage cabinet incorporated into the wall that was almost too tall to put anything into. This space was in need of a over haul. We updated the bathroom with a wall to wall shower, light bright paint, wood tile floors, vanity lights, and a big enough vanity for growing kids. The space is in a basement meaning that the walls were not tall. So we continued the tile and the mirror to the ceiling. This bathroom did not have any natural light and so it was important to have to make the bathroom light and bright. We added the glossy tile to reflect the ceiling and vanity lights.

Mariano & Co., LLCOur clients came to us wanting to increase the size of the bathroom and reconfigure the closet to create a more functional space. We re-positioned the toilet, squared off the closet, and increased the overall size of the bathroom upon entry/ in front of the vanities. We removed the cultured marble tub and shower and created a zero-threshold, walk-in shower with a gorgeous Kohler “Veil” free standing tub paired with a floor mounted tub filler in a brushed nickel finish. The tile is a 12x24 cemento cassero bianco porceline on the walls and the floor to create seamless, spa-like escape. The focal point as you walk in is the 24-inch Deco column running vertical behind the tub. The vanity features an espresso cabinet with the Britannica Cambria Quartz countertop. This gorgeous Quartz features a waterfall edge and a show stopping 8-inch vanity backsplash with wall mounted vanity faucets.

Florida Tile’s Sequence 9x36 plank tile in the color Breeze was used on the tub surround walls as well as the wainscot. To add some color dimension between the walls and the floor, the Sequence 9x36 plank tile in the color Drift was for the flooring. The shower wall features a center panel with accent tiles from Cement Tile Shop in the style Paris. The 2.5x9 Zenith tile in Umbia Matte from Bedrosians was used to border the wainscot as well as the center decorative panel on the shower wall. A glass panel is to be added to enclose the shower and keep a visual flow throughout the space.
