Simply Baths & KitchensTired of their outdated and chaotic master bath, this CT couple wanted to create a relaxing at-home spa with an enlarged steam shower, a soaking tub, and a soothing natural Zen aesthetic. With a clear vision of the inviting retreat these homeowners desired, design team Barry Miller & Rachel Peterson of Simply Baths, Inc. transformed the space.
Cabinet-S-TopIn this guest bathroom, Medallion Cherry Devonshire door style in French roast vanity with matching mirror. On the countertop is Venetia Cream Zodiaq quartz. The tile on the front and back shower wall is Urban Canvas 3x12 field tile in Bright Ice White with an accent wall of Color Appeal Moonlight tile. On the floor is Cava 12x24 tile in Bianco. The Moen Voss collection in oil rubbed bronze includes tub/shower faucet, sink faucets, towel bar and paper holder. A Kohler Bellwether bathtub and clear glass bypass shower door was installed.
Design Studio WestThe powder room is located just outside the kitchen and we wanted the same motif to be carried into the room. We used the same floor material but changed the design from 24" x 24" format tiles to smaller hexagons to be more in scale with the room. Accent tiles were selected to add a sense of whimsy to the rooms and color.
Francesco Pierazzi ArchitectsA small cloakroom for guests, tucked away in a semi hidden corner of the floor plan, is surprisingly decorated with a bright yellow interior with the colour applied indifferently to walls, ceilings and cabinetry.
The Renowned GroupThe Master Bath needed some updates as it suffered from an out of date, extra large tub, a very small shower and only one sink. Keeping with the Mood, a new larger vanity was added in a beautiful dark green with two sinks and ample drawer space, finished with gold framed mirrors and two glamorous gold leaf sconces. Taking in a small linen closet allowed for more room at the shower which is enclosed by a dramatic black framed door. Also, the old tub was replaced with a new alluring freestanding tub surrounded by beautiful marble tiles in a large format that sits under a deco glam chandelier. All warmed by the use of gold fixtures and hardware.

Matthew Fowler, ArchitectA view of the master bath with double vanity with glass mosaic tile counter and backsplash. The vanity has two vessel sinks with wall mounted stainless steel faucets. A frosted glass partition provides privacy for the toilet area and for the open shower. The shower floor and curb are also glass mosaic tile. French doors from the shower provide views and access to the bamboo fenced outdoor shower beyond. The vanity has flat front beech door panels with stainless steel knobs.

KraftMaster RenovationsA traditional girly master bathroom with gorgeous brass accents. Two antique mirros line up perfectly, one for the sink and the other for the makeup area. The shower has beautiful feature tile that is outlined in brass.
