Cathedral Construction, LLCThe bathroom layout was changed, opening up and simplifying the space. New fixtures were chosen to blend well with the vintage aesthetic.
The tile flows seamlessly from the hand-set 1" hex pattern in the floor to the cove base, subway, and picture rail, all in a matte-finish ceramic tile.
We built the medicine cabinet to match the windows of the house as well as the cabinets George Ramos Woodworking built for the kitchen and sunroom.

Fireclay Tile4” Hexagon Tile in Antique fills the floor in varied browns while 4x4 Tile with Quarter Round Trim in leafy Rosemary finishes the tub surround with a built-in shampoo niche.

Sky Architect StudioThe main bathroom features the same palette of materials as the kitchen, while also incorporating a tall, reflective full-length mirror, a skylight with high light transmission and low solar heat gain and floor to ceiling double-glazed sashless window set next to a wall-hung vanity.
Combined, these features add up to a great sense of space and natural light. A free-standing bathtub in the centre of the room, allows for relaxation while enjoying a magnificent ocean view.
UserOn a beautiful Florida day, the covered lanai is a great place to relax after a game of golf at one of the best courses in Florida! Great location just a minute walk to the club and practice range!
Upgraded finishes and designer details will be included throughout this quality built home including porcelain tile and crown molding in the main living areas, Kraftmaid cabinetry, KitchenAid appliances, granite and quartz countertops, security system and more. Very energy efficient home with LED lighting, vinyl Low-e windows, R-38 insulation and 15 SEER HVAC system. The open kitchen features a large island for casual dining and enjoy golf course views from your dining room looking through a large picturesque mitered glass window. Design Studio WestThe intent of this design is to integrate the clients love for Japanese aesthetic, create an open and airy space, and maintain natural elements that evoke a warm inviting environment. A traditional Japanese soaking tub made from Hinoki wood was selected as the focal point of the bathroom. It not only adds visual warmth to the space, but it infuses a cedar aroma into the air. A live-edge wood shelf and custom chiseled wood post are used to frame and define the bathing area. Tile depicting Japanese Shou Sugi Ban (charred wood planks) was chosen as the flooring for the wet areas. A neutral toned tile with fabric texture defines the dry areas in the room. The curb-less shower and floating back lit vanity accentuate the open feel of the space. The organic nature of the handwoven window shade, shoji screen closet doors and antique bathing stool counterbalance the hard surface materials throughout.

So the design incorporates two built-in seats and the depth of the tub has been extended to 27.75” (70.5 cm) to ensure full body immersion for even 6ft (180 cm) plus bathers. The interior ergonomics of this bathtub is all directed to providing effortless comfort and support.

Inspired by ancient Japanese traditions of soaking in Ofuro tubs, the True Ofuro Japanese style bathtub is a ‘sit and soak’, solid surface bathtub, featuring a deep design for a full-body immersion. Crafted in Italy, this immaculately sculpted tub is available with an optional inline water heater and digital control panel with temperature display, which will reduce water consumption and provide for a prolonged soaking experience at very comfortable temperatures.
One of the True Ofuro's key features is it's carefully designed elevated rim for improved bathers neck and head support, and the convenient ergonomic seating, which allows the body to be comfortably emerged to maximum water capacity.
The international industrial design team, commissioned by Aquatica to create this product, used advanced CAD tools, modeling and repeated testing with real size prototype units, in order to reach the optimal balance between ergonomic comfort and visual appeal for this one of a kind bathtub.
Thanks to the AquateX™ material, this Japanese soaking tub retains heat for much longer and has a silky and smooth surface. Besides being one of our most space conscious bathtubs, the freestanding and petite construction of this Japanese style bathtub means that it can be installed pretty much anywhere in your bathroom.
