FOUR POINT DESIGN BUILD INC
Selected as one of four designers to the prestigious DXV Design Panel to design a space for their 2018-2020 national ad campaign || Inspired by 21st Century black & white architectural/interior photography, in collaboration with DXV, we created a healing space where light and shadow could dance throughout the day and night to reveal stunning shapes and shadows. With retractable clear skylights and frame-less windows that slice through strong architectural planes, a seemingly static white space becomes a dramatic yet serene hypnotic playground; igniting a new relationship with the sun and moon each day by harnessing their energy and color story. Seamlessly installed earthy toned teak reclaimed plank floors provide a durable grounded flow from bath to shower to lounge. The juxtaposition of vertical and horizontal layers of neutral lines, bold shapes and organic materials, inspires a relaxing, exciting, restorative daily destination.

Boot room cloakroom. Carrara marble topped vanity unit with surface mounted carrara marble basin. Handmade vanity unit is painted in an earthy sea green, which in the boot room we gave a bit more earthy stones - the stone coloured walls and earth sea green (compared to the crisper cleaner colours in the other parts of the house). The nautical rope towel ring adds another coastal touch. The look is finished with a nautical style round mirror and pair of matching bronze wall lights. Limestone tiles are both a practical and attractive choice for the boot room floor.

Design Connection, Inc.
The owners of this beautiful Johnson County home wanted to refresh their lower level powder room as well as create a new space for storing outdoor clothes and shoes.
Arlene Ladegaard and the Design Connection, Inc. team assisted with the transformation in this space with two distinct purposes as part of a much larger project on the first floor remodel in their home.
The knockout floral wallpaper in the powder room is the big wow! The homeowners also requested a large floor to ceiling cabinet for the storage area. To enhance the allure of this small space, the design team installed a Java-finish custom vanity with quartz countertops and high-end plumbing fixtures and sconces. Design Connection, Inc. provided; custom-cabinets, wallpaper, plumbing fixtures, a handmade custom mirror from a local company, lighting fixtures, installation of all materials and project management.
