Craftsman Design and RenovationAfter years of renting out the house, the owners of this 1916 Craftsman were ready to make it their forever home. Both enthusiastic cooks, an updated kitchen was at the top of the list. Updating the fireplace, as well as two bathrooms in the house were also important. The homeowners passion for honoring the age of home, while also updating it, was at the forefront of our design. The end result beautifully blends the older elements with the new.

In the DeetsA spa-like master bathroom retreat. Custom cement tile flooring, custom oak vanity with quartz countertop, Calacatta marble walk-in shower for two, complete with a ledge bench and brass shower fixtures. Brass mirrors and sconces. Attached master closet with custom closet cabinetry and a separate water closet for complete privacy.
Kate Savitch DesignThis powder bathroom is tiny but we really wanted to lighten it up and add more storage. The mirror is actually a recessed medicine cabinet and what you can't see is a geometric wall cabinet over the toilet on the opposite wall. Adding a chair rail and fun wallpaper finished off the space!
My Bespoke RoomFamily bathrooms don't come much sleeker than this one! Black hardware adds a modern edge to what otherwise would be a traditional bathroom with shaker vanity and soft floral patterned tiles.
Hanging plants sit beautifully beside the mirror pendants and add a fresh touch of nature to the room.
