Heidi Reis / Abode Agency LLCThis was a complete full bath renovation in July 2020. This home was built in 1935, it’s located on Marion Ave, in Grant Park, Atlanta, Georgia. The client came to me wanting a complete makeover of the bathroom that combined aesthetics and utility. This house had been expanded in the past, and this bath was probably added at some point; because of the age of the home, I had no idea what to expect!
The full bathroom has a tub, shower, vanity, and toilet, all nestled in 30 sq. foot of space. The client needed an update to include special accommodations for her aging parents; fixtures adjusted in height for the taller guests or people in her family; and most importantly, a more comfortable, updated environment.

N Sabella IncMaximizing space and creating a calm oasis was this client’s goal. They were eager to get rid of the existing “coffin-shaped, too-small bathtub and outdated, insufficient sink.” While the wall was open, we also installed a washer/dryer in the little closet that shares the tub wall. Most importantly, this Lincoln client was looking to create a relaxing vibe with a deep-soaking tub. Nick Sabella suggested a custom-made vanity with side details that mirrored the modern storage benches in the living room. The sink nods to the modern farmhouse style and the wooden accents finished the natural look. The client appreciated N Sabella’s handcrafted maple vanity that is clean and simple vs. a store bought one.

Heidi Welker InteriorsA vintage farmhouse sink found in the garage was restored for use in this pink bathroom. A bathroom renovation would have cost thousands of dollars but the keeping the old pink tile allowed the home to retain its old world charm. Custom sink skirt and matching shower curtain dress up the look.
TATCOR Building & RemodelingGorgeous treated pieces of wood were used for the unique double vanity set-up. Stand-alone sink bowls were added to the top counter top with a separated faucets. A black-tiled backsplash was added just high enough to frame the bowls so they stand out. Double mirrors with hanging shelves were placed above both sinks with their own wall-mounted light.
