Studio FabbriReconfiguration of a dilapidated bathroom and separate toilet in a Victorian house in Walthamstow village.
The original toilet was situated straight off of the landing space and lacked any privacy as it opened onto the landing. The original bathroom was separate from the WC with the entrance at the end of the landing. To get to the rear bedroom meant passing through the bathroom which was not ideal. The layout was reconfigured to create a family bathroom which incorporated a walk-in shower where the original toilet had been and freestanding bath under a large sash window. The new bathroom is slightly slimmer than the original this is to create a short corridor leading to the rear bedroom.
The ceiling was removed and the joists exposed to create the feeling of a larger space. A rooflight sits above the walk-in shower and the room is flooded with natural daylight. Hanging plants are hung from the exposed beams bringing nature and a feeling of calm tranquility into the space.
Caracalla Design and RenovationThis two story terrace in Bondi Junction only had one bathroom and toilet upstairs.
In this project we formed and constructed a separate toilet room complete with basin and mirror cabinet to the 1st floor living area.
It was a bit of a challenge but by utilising the available floor space under the stairs we were able to create a toilet room with additional storage cabinets, All without taking up any valuable living area floor space.
Talmadge Construction, Inc.The vanity in this master bathroom includes two under mount sinks and simple brushed nickel faucets. Hanging pendant lighting help to illuminate this space and add a sense of style to the room.
UserPreviously a separate WC and bathroom room, the wall was removed and the area fully renovated to increase the sense of light and space. Now it houses a large walk-in shower with wall hung vanity unit & WC. Fully tiled in beautiful large format limestone tiles, with glass mosaic tiles used in the alcoves to add visual interest. Lighting has been used to highlight the alcoves as well as discrete low level wall lights either side of the WC which wash light across the floor.
