Metropolis Drafting and Construction IncAnother update project we did in the same Townhome community in Culver city. This time more towards Modern Farmhouse / Transitional design.
Kitchen cabinets were completely refinished with new hardware installed. The black island is a great center piece to the white / gold / brown color scheme.
The hallway Guest bathroom was partially updated with new fixtures, vanity, toilet, shower door and floor tile.
that's what happens when older style white subway tile came back into fashion. They fit right in with the other updates.
Meadowlark Design+BuildThis primary bath was remodeled with an eye on keeping the aesthetic true to the building's historic 1870's roots. Balboa Design GroupOur clients wanted a REAL master bathroom with enough space for both of them to be in there at the same time. Their house, built in the 1940’s, still had plenty of the original charm, but also had plenty of its original tiny spaces that just aren’t very functional for modern life.
The original bathroom had a tiny stall shower, and just a single vanity with very limited storage and counter space. Not to mention kitschy pink subway tile on every wall. With some creative reconfiguring, we were able to reclaim about 25 square feet of space from the bedroom. Which gave us the space we needed to introduce a double vanity with plenty of storage, and a HUGE walk-in shower that spans the entire length of the new bathroom!
While we knew we needed to stay true to the original character of the house, we also wanted to bring in some modern flair! Pairing strong graphic floor tile with some subtle (and not so subtle) green tones gave us the perfect blend of classic sophistication with a modern glow up.
Our clients were thrilled with the look of their new space, and were even happier about how large and open it now feels!
Bolen DesignsThis gorgeous guest bathroom remodel turned an outdated hall bathroom into a guest's spa retreat. The classic gray subway tile mixed with dark gray shiplap lends a farmhouse feel, while the octagon, marble-look porcelain floor tile and brushed nickel accents add a modern vibe. Devine Bath & KitchenMaster bath gets beautiful update without changing the layout. Walk in shower gets major upgrade with body sprayers, small bench with separate hand shower, grab bars, extra tall rain head, and Carrara marble style tile. Large vanity with shaker cabinets, under mount sinks, and traditional fixtures. Large acrylic freestanding soaking tub with floor mounted tub filler. Large format hexagon tile flooring. And new lighting throughout.
Whidbey and ChillWe went with a deep water tub, hansgrohe fixtures, push button thermostatic valve, 16x2 matte white subway tile, with a hex niche with oil rubbed bronze schluter trim around it.
Mustard House DesignThe basement bathroom took its cues from the black industrial rainwater pipe running across the ceiling. The bathroom was built into the basement of an ex-school boiler room so the client wanted to maintain the industrial feel the area once had.
