Triple Dot Design StudioThe scalloped vanity front, ribbed subway tiles and bold pattern floor tiles, provide texture, warmth and fun into the space. Black ceilings were used with the large skylight, this was to bring the height of the space down and provide a cozy atmosphere.
Kevin Mason, ArchitectTHE PARTY CONTINUES Signature blue-green glass-tile reappears in second floor Master Bathroom to mark wall that separates this rowhouse from its adjacent neighbor. Printmaker’s vanity lends to industrial loft vibe. Grid of domed milk glass ceiling light fixture shades reflect in tile.
HALLETT & Co.This mid century modern home, built in 1957, suffered a fire and poor repairs over twenty years ago. A cohesive approach of restoration and remodeling resulted in this newly modern home which preserves original features and brings living spaces into the 21st century. Photography by Atlantic Archives
Bath + KitchenThis is the third space we have competed for this homeowner (master bath, kitchen, & hall bath). Though not the master, this hall bath will serve as the spa-retreat for the home. It features a glass accent wall, marble mosaic floor, and a deep soaking tub. Wall color is Spinach White by Sherwin Williams.
Eldridge & Patten DesignLinoleum flooring will be very removed. The entire bathroom is being renovated cast-iron clawfoot tub will be removed cast iron register is also being removed for space. All fixtures, sink, tub, vanity, toilet, and window will be replaced with beehive Carrera marble on the floor and Carrera marble subway tile three by fives on the wall
Castle Building & RemodelingThis growing family needed more living space in their 1926 St. Paul, MN Bungalow, and had great potential in their unfinished attic for a new master suite.
Castle began working with the city to grandfather some existing conditions in, like the steeper stairs and lower ceiling height to comply with building codes. New insulation, interior walls, electrical, heating, and a full interior finish was planned. The finished space incorporates traditional millwork matching the lower level of the home, a custom built-in bookshelf, new white doors, and pre-finished white oak hardwood floors in a rich Licorice stain. The dark floors and oil-bronze accents throughout the space really anchors the room and completes an overall bright color pallet with high contrast.
In the new bathroom, a cement tile floor was selected to tie in the homeowner’s classy flair. Switching the finishes to polished brass inside the bathroom really brings a lux and regal feel to the space. Paired with traditional subway tile, white vanity, refurbished vintage medicine cabinet, and neutral walls, the new bathroom is elegant, yet understated. One of our favorite features is the use of the two existing dormers. One dormer was converted into a new walk-in closet with custom glass closet doors, so the light can still shine into the bedroom. The 2nd dormer, we left open for a quaint sitting and reading nook.

May Construction, Inc.At the end of the long hallway, a new hall bath presenting an Americh White Kent Tub, including another shower niche in Burmese Snow White & Ocean tile encompassed by Stream White Lux Tile. Bringing a sense as if you have stepped into a house on Cape, entwining into the theme is the Arcadia Silver Pine Heartwood matte floor tile that creates a depth of duskiness to the airiness of this bath.
