Hughes Kitchens & BathWhen I originally met with the client in their home they told me that they wanted this to be an absolutely beautiful bathroom. As we designed the space I knew we needed a starting point to build from and I showed them Cambria Galloway Quartz Counter-top. I knew from talking to them that this could work really well for the space. They fell in love with it. We carried the sample with us through the entire design process. The whole bathroom color pallet came from the counter. We added the Galloway in the shower and in the steam room to keep the same feel and color palette. The homeowner was blown away and totally is in love with the entire bathroom.

Original floor had major structural issues. Leveled and sistered all the joists. Greenboard installed on the walls with first coat on seams. Kerdiboard installed on tile walls.

Marshall ConstructionWe completed this extensive master bathroom project in January 2017.
After tearing out the old tub, shower, vanity, closet and cabinet doors, and a small wall, we re-tiled the floor with Winter Slate ceramic tile. We installed a new vintage-styled clawfoot tub in place of the old jacuzzi and re-routed the plumbing up through the floor for a detached faucet fixture for the tub.
Next we built a half-wall behind the tub. The other side of the half-wall was the old small shower, which we expanded to a generous 4ft x 6.5ft, installed new floor-to-ceiling tile, a floor and decorative band of sealed true slate, and "his and hers" shower heads. The shower bench and two corner shelves are the same Santa Cecilia granite as the top of the vanity and half-wall. We finished this curbless shower with a frameless glass enclosure.
