In the DeetsBright and fun bathroom featuring a floating, navy, custom vanity, decorative, patterned, floor tile that leads into a step down shower with a linear drain. The transom window above the vanity adds natural light to the space.
Interiors by PopovOur clients owned a secondary home in Bellevue and decided to do a major renovation as the family wanted to make this their main residence. A decision was made to add 3 bedrooms and an expanded large kitchen to the property. The homeowners were in love with whites and grays, and their idea was to create a soft modern look with transitional elements.
We designed the kitchen layout to capitalize on the view and to meet all of the homeowners requirements. Large open plan kitchen lets in plenty of natural light and lots of space for their 3 boys to run around. We redesigned all the bathrooms, helped the clients with selection of all the finishes, materials, and fixtures for their new home.
Ultimate Kitchens & BathroomsThe ensuite is a luxurious space offering all the desired facilities. The warm theme of all rooms echoes in the materials used. The vanity was created from Recycled Messmate with a horizontal grain, complemented by the polished concrete bench top. The walk in double shower creates a real impact, with its black framed glass which again echoes with the framing in the mirrors and shelving.

The project culminates in a tranquil sanctuary that epitomizes quiet luxury. The redesign features a custom oak vanity with an integrated hamper and extensive storage, polished nickel finishes, and artfully placed decorative wall niches. Functional elements harmoniously blend with aesthetic details, such as the captivating blue-green shower tile and the charming mini stars and cross tiles adorning both the floor and niches.

White subway tiles add a timeless touch while enhancing the brightness of the space. A free standing tub invites relaxation, complemented by terrazzo ceramic floor tiles that add subtle visual interest. The open shower promotes a sense of airiness and flow. The double floating vanity combines functionality with a sleek aesthetic, providing storage without overwhelming the space.
Together, these elements harmonize to create a master bathroom that is both inviting and effortlessly stylish.

Madison BuildersThis beautiful home is situated on a large corner lot, enclosed by brand new - equestrian style fencing and lush landscaping. The main house is 1,414 sq. /ft with 3 beds, 2 baths including a spacious master suite that is sure to have you saying - “This is it”. The eye catching Santa Barbara stucco is welcomed with an 18th Century inspired Dutch door, all new dual pane windows while copper gutters surround the brand new roof offering neighborhood supremacy. As the door opens, you are invited in with brand new hardwood flooring throughout the home. The great room is textured with custom wainscoting that pairs perfectly with the coffered ceilings, ambient - recessed lighting and a cozy fireplace. Continue through the family area and uncover the contemporary, yet elegantly designed kitchen equipped with top of the line appliances. The Carrara Marble Countertops waterfall off the custom cabinetry to complete the modern farmhouse feel. On top of all this, you have room for company with a brand new deck, enclosed back yard with copious natural grass and a 450 Sqft 1 Bed / 1 Bath guest house for those long term stays from both friends and family. This accessory unit is equipped with its own laundry hook ups, air conditioning and a kitchenette.
Courtney Thomas DesignWe planned a thoughtful redesign of this beautiful home while retaining many of the existing features. We wanted this house to feel the immediacy of its environment. So we carried the exterior front entry style into the interiors, too, as a way to bring the beautiful outdoors in. In addition, we added patios to all the bedrooms to make them feel much bigger. Luckily for us, our temperate California climate makes it possible for the patios to be used consistently throughout the year.
The original kitchen design did not have exposed beams, but we decided to replicate the motif of the 30" living room beams in the kitchen as well, making it one of our favorite details of the house. To make the kitchen more functional, we added a second island allowing us to separate kitchen tasks. The sink island works as a food prep area, and the bar island is for mail, crafts, and quick snacks.
We designed the primary bedroom as a relaxation sanctuary – something we highly recommend to all parents. It features some of our favorite things: a cognac leather reading chair next to a fireplace, Scottish plaid fabrics, a vegetable dye rug, art from our favorite cities, and goofy portraits of the kids.

Our client came to us with a vision for their family dream house that offered adequate space and a lot of character. They were drawn to the traditional form and contemporary feel of a Modern Farmhouse.
MCHUGH SOLUTION:
In showing multiple options at the schematic stage, the client approved a traditional L shaped porch with simple barn-like columns. The entry foyer is simple in it's two-story volume and it's mono-chromatic (white & black) finishes. The living space which includes a kitchen & dining area - is an open floor plan, allowing natural light to fill the space.
