Cathie Hong InteriorsThis home was a blend of modern and traditional, mixed finishes, classic subway tiles, and ceramic light fixtures. The kitchen was kept bright and airy with high-end appliances for the avid cook and homeschooling mother. As an animal loving family and owner of two furry creatures, we added a little whimsy with cat wallpaper in their laundry room.
building Lab, inc.A large window of edged glass brings in diffused light without sacrificing privacy. Two tall medicine cabinets hover in front are actually hung from the header. Long skylight directly above the counter fills the room with natural light. A wide ribbon of shimmery blue terrazzo tiles flows from the back wall of the tub, across the floor, and up the back of the wall hung toilet on the opposite side of the room.

Kitchen & Bath GalleryThe sophisticated contrast of black and white shines in this Jamestown, RI bathroom remodel. The white subway tile walls are accented with black grout and complimented by the 8x8 black and white patterned floor and niche tiles. The shower and faucet fittings are from Kohler in the Loure and Honesty collections.

Sheila Rich Interiors, LLCBright white, textured wall tiles and a glass shower enclosure create a crisp, fresh new look for this once-dark and dated 5' x 7' guest bathroom. The introduction of cement floor tiles added interest and contrast.

The walls are treated with waterproof béton ciré and the floors are bespoke cement tiles.
