Straight Line Design and RemodelingOur clients were looking to build an income property for use as a short term rental in their backyard. In order to keep maximize the available space on a limited footprint, we designed the ADU around a spiral staircase leading up to the loft bedroom. The vaulted ceiling gives the small space a much larger appearance.
To provide privacy for both the renters and the homeowners, the ADU was set apart from the house with its own private entrance.
The design of the ADU was done with local Pacific Northwest aesthetics in mind, including green exterior paint and a mixture of woodgrain and metal fixtures for the interior.
Durability was a major concern for the homeowners. In order to minimize potential damages from renters, we selected quartz countertops and waterproof flooring. We also used a high-quality interior paint that will stand the test of time and clean easily.
The end result of this project was exactly what the client was hoping for, and the rental consistently receives 5-star reviews on Airbnb.
Laura Medicus InteriorsThis family home in a Denver neighborhood started out as a dark, ranch home from the 1950’s. We changed the roof line, added windows, large doors, walnut beams, a built-in garden nook, a custom kitchen and a new entrance (among other things). The home didn’t grow dramatically square footage-wise. It grew in ways that really count: Light, air, connection to the outside and a connection to family living.

One Kind Design
JRP Design & RemodelJoe and Denise purchased a large Tudor style home that never truly fit their needs. While interviewing contractors to replace the roof and stucco on their home, it prompted them to consider a complete remodel. With two young daughters and pets in the home, our clients were convinced they needed an open concept to entertain and enjoy family and friends together. The couple also desired a blend of traditional and contemporary styles with sophisticated finishes for the project.
JRP embarked on a new floor plan design for both stories of the home. The top floor would include a complete rearrangement of the master suite allowing for separate vanities, spacious master shower, soaking tub, and bigger walk-in closet. On the main floor, walls separating the kitchen and formal dining room would come down. Steel beams and new SQFT was added to open the spaces up to one another. Central to the open-concept layout is a breathtaking great room with an expansive 6-panel bi-folding door creating a seamless view to the gorgeous hills. It became an entirely new space with structural changes, additional living space, and all-new finishes, inside and out to embody our clients’ dream home.

GOGO Design GroupGOGO’s mission for the master bath was to create a light-filled space due to its small size. A skylight was installed thanks to our creative builder Teak Barton of Macnon Builders, as well as white-embossed porcelain in the shower to give the appearance of wallpaper. The porcelain “wood plank” flooring is a nod to farmhouse living and our commitment to creating a smooth flow throughout the home.
TruKitchensThis master bathroom features a custom furniture style vanity also from Grabill Cabinets on rift cut white oak in their Milano door style. Beautiful custom matching wood legs with brass caps from Fidler Furniture Company take this piece to a new level.
