In this high contrast bathroom the dark Navy Blue vanity and shower wall tile installed in chevron pattern pop off of this otherwise neutral, white space. The white grout helps to accentuate the tile pattern on the blue accent wall in the shower for more interest.

Ann Lowengart InteriorsThe three-level Mediterranean revival home started as a 1930s summer cottage that expanded downward and upward over time. We used a clean, crisp white wall plaster with bronze hardware throughout the interiors to give the house continuity. A neutral color palette and minimalist furnishings create a sense of calm restraint. Subtle and nuanced textures and variations in tints add visual interest. The stair risers from the living room to the primary suite are hand-painted terra cotta tile in gray and off-white. We used the same tile resource in the kitchen for the island's toe kick.
Lasley Brahaney Architecture + ConstructionAdjacent to the spectacular soaking tub is the custom-designed glass shower enclosure, framed by smoke-colored wall and floor tile. Oak flooring and cabinetry blend easily with the teak ceiling soffit details. Architecture and interior design by Pierre Hoppenot, Studio PHH Architects.

Expansive curbless shower and freestanding tub sit on raised platform with LED light strip. Modern glass pendants and small black side table add depth to the white grey and wood bathroom. Large skylights act as modern coffered ceiling flooding the room with natural light.
Melinda Mandell Interior DesignSome spaces, like this bathroom, simply needed a little face lift so we made some changes to personalize the look for our clients. The framed, beveled mirror is actually a recessed medicine cabinet with hidden storage! On either side of the mirror are linear, modern, etched-glass and black metal light fixtures. Marble is seen throughout the home and we added it here as a backsplash. The new faucet compliments the lighting above.

The bedroom and bath are separated by translucent, retractable doors. A floating, wall-mounted vanity and toilet with a curb-less shower create a contemporary atmosphere.

The new space available offers the opportunity to create an original layout where a cube pod separate bedroom and bathroom areas in an open plan layout. The pod, treated with luxurious morrocan Tadelakt plaster houses the walk-in wardrobe as well as the shower and the toilet.
