Ken Kohles DesignOne goal of this bathroom was to open it up to the view from the outside. Double pocket doors allow for separation and the ability to make this tranquil bath a more integral part of the master suite and the stunning views beyond.
Electronic Lifestyle Associates (ela)The large 300+ gallon spa tub required plenty of additional structural support. The 2 recessed niche areas were installed during framing and are illuminated with low voltage accent lighting. Music for the bathroom is handled with (2) in-ceiling speakers.
Sarah Barnard Design LLCThis option for the guest bathroom features a harmonious beige honed limestone finish which tiles the floor, wall, and shower. The warm palette of the stone is complimented by custom cabinetry made from rift white oak with a polished quartzite countertop. The even glow of light emanating from the wall sconces made from brushed metal and onyx creates a subtle contrast through the beautiful natural veining of the stone that shines through its elegant, architectural form. The satin gold finish of the hardware throughout the bathroom and cabinetry creates chic highlights within these warm tones.
This view highlights the beige honed limestone finish which wraps around the interior of the shower. The Polished Quartzite countertop of the bathroom cabinets creates a subtle contrast to the warmth of the stone used on the floor, walls, and shower.
Designs by BSBThe original space of this master suite was the epitome of an outdated design. The homeowner’s desired to have a luxurious, personal oasis to escape. Their requests included: use of modern, yet warm & natural use of materials in an interesting way, better lighting, larger shower, better function of space and easy maintenance.
Katz Builders, Inc.What makes this remodeling project unique is that it was designed for accessibility and built for two individuals with conflicting needs. He was tall and she was very petite. She was visually impaired while he was hearing impaired and difficulty lifting his feet so he shuffled a lot.
Some features to accommodate them are: toe kick lighting on a motion sensor so as soon as they come into the room the lights go on automatically
Grab bars at two different heights because of his size vs her size
Counter tops are different heights
He uses shower she uses tub
Hand held at the seat in the shower in case they need a wheelchair. Biggest challenge in completing this space was dropping the shower floor to the correct height because it doesn’t have a curb.

JTID Inc.In the ensuite bathroom, the floor and shower travertine tile materials were kept. The vanity however was replaced. This new light white oak vanity seamlessly blends with the existing scheme. The white marble countertop is nicely complimented by the right white walls.
Affinity KitchensA free-standing tub is accented with unique wall sconces for a restful bathing experience.
