The bathroom is inspired by a modern farmhouse feel. Shiplap is a feature behind an oversized rounded corner rectangle mirror. The eye is drawn to the unique cabinets and drawers that are set under a gray quartz countertop. The black finishes and faucets tie in the modern farmhouse look seamlessly.
Outland Construction Co. Inc.
Our client wanted to update their Jack and Jill bathroom with a Restoration Hardware inspiration.
Madu Interiors
Our West Montrose project features a living room, master bathroom, and kid's bathroom renovation.
This ensuite was designed to exude a calmness, embracing colours and textures of nature. The green shiplap creates a warm alcove for the freestanding tub and compliments the beautiful brass hardware. We finished the walls with a soft grey roman clay finish that gives a warm feeling to the space. The shower arch is another feature that elevates the walk-in shower and highlights the beautiful marble mosaic tiles.
Mavella Home
We ship lapped this entire bathroom to highlight the angles and make it feel intentional, instead of awkward. This light and airy bathroom features a mix of matte black and silver metals, with gray hexagon tiles, and a cane door vanity in a medium wood tone for warmth. We added classic white subway tiles and rattan for texture.

This Primary Bath’s general layout is maintained while bringing it into a new era! The large tub deck is replaced by a sleek freestanding tub, separated from the shower by a half wall covered in an elegant marble-look porcelain tile. The new grey and warm wood finishes are serene, while the shiplap and black fixtures add character to the space.
DMB Interior Design-Build
This vintage inspired bathroom is the pinnacle of luxury with heated marble floors and its cast iron skirted tub as the focal point of the design. The custom built inset vanity is perfectly tailored to the space of this bathroom, done in a rich autumn glow color, fashioned from heritage cherrywood. The room is accented by fixtures that combined a classic antique look with modern functionality. The elegant simplicity of the vertical shiplap throughout the room adds visual space with its clean lines and timeless style.
Synergy Design & Construction
Our team removed an empty corner built into the original Primary Bath solely to house some open shelves (see last photo). With the space opened up, we were able to add a continuous double vanity in an L-shape, with an additional storage tower on the countertop. A shiplap wall treatment adds character. The stain on the cabinetry was customized to coordinate with the clients’ bedroom furniture.
Mavella Home
A light and airy modern farmhouse bathroom featuring a white shiplap wall, touches of matte black, and wood for balance and warmth. The simplicity of the overall look is contrasted with the gray patterned floor tiles. We also removed the tub and added a glass shower door.

Keeping the integrity of the existing style is important to us — and this Rio Del Mar cabin remodel is a perfect example of that.
For this special bathroom update, we preserved the essence of the original lathe and plaster walls by using a nickel gap wall treatment. The decorative floor tile and a pebbled shower call to mind the history of the house and its beach location.
The marble counter, and custom towel ladder, add a natural, modern finish to the room that match the homeowner's unique designer flair.
Judith Balis Interiors
I used a patterned tile on the floor, warm wood on the vanity, and dark molding on the walls to give this small bathroom a ton of character.

This custom-made laundry chute is one of many unique features in this space. Made entirely of walnut, this framed door was designed with soft-close hinges and fit perfectly between the 12x12 tiles.
