Erin Shaw DesignsThis circa-1960's bath was water damaged and neglected for decades. To create a spa-lie, organic feel, we added a solar tube for gorgeous natural light, natural limestone and marble tiles, floating shelves and a glass enclosure. The aged brass fixtures bring the glam.
Two Birds DesignThis main floor bathroom had to function not only as a Powder Room for guests but also be easily accessible to the backyard pool for the family to change and wash up. Combining the weathered wood vanity and shower wall tiles with the crisp shell-inspired mirror and sand-like floor tile we’ve achieved a space reminiscent of the beach just down the road.
Karen Ellentuck. ASIDThis room was added to the upper level of the home as a north facing dormer. A repurposed claw-foot tub and a buffet was used as the basis for the vanity to which we added additional cabinetry on the left side to fill in the space. A wood plank porcelain tile was used for the flooring and taken into the curbless steam shower. A bench was created for the steam shower and as a shelf adjacent to the tub for use by the bather. The blue accent tile color was repeated on the underside of the tub and on the adjacent wall as an accent. It was also used in the separate toilet room on the wall.
A custom rubbed painted finish was used on all the cabinetry. Hudson Valley sconces were used.

We removed most of the walls in the existing house and create a bridge to the addition over the detached garage. We created an very open floor plan which is industrial and cozy. Both bathrooms and the first floor have cement floors with a specialty stain, and a radiant heat system. We installed a custom kitchen, custom barn doors, custom furniture, all new windows and exterior doors. We loved the rawness of the beams and added corrugated tin in a few areas to the ceiling. We applied American Clay to many walls, and installed metal stairs. This was a fun project and we had a blast!

Jane EllisonThis home in Napa off Silverado was rebuilt after burning down in the 2017 fires. Architect David Rulon, a former associate of Howard Backen, known for this Napa Valley industrial modern farmhouse style. Composed in mostly a neutral palette, the bones of this house are bathed in diffused natural light pouring in through the clerestory windows. Beautiful textures and the layering of pattern with a mix of materials add drama to a neutral backdrop. The homeowners are pleased with their open floor plan and fluid seating areas, which allow them to entertain large gatherings. The result is an engaging space, a personal sanctuary and a true reflection of it's owners' unique aesthetic.
Inspirational features are metal fireplace surround and book cases as well as Beverage Bar shelving done by Wyatt Studio, painted inset style cabinets by Gamma, moroccan CLE tile backsplash and quartzite countertops.
Maraya Interior DesignNew Moroccan Villa on the Santa Barbara Riviera, overlooking the Pacific ocean and the city. In this terra cotta and deep blue home, we used natural stone mosaics and glass mosaics, along with custom carved stone columns. Every room is colorful with deep, rich colors. In the master bath we used blue stone mosaics on the groin vaulted ceiling of the shower. All the lighting was designed and made in Marrakesh, as were many furniture pieces. The entry black and white columns are also imported from Morocco. We also designed the carved doors and had them made in Marrakesh. Cabinetry doors we designed were carved in Canada. The carved plaster molding were made especially for us, and all was shipped in a large container (just before covid-19 hit the shipping world!) Thank you to our wonderful craftsman and enthusiastic vendors!

Signature Designs Kitchen | Bath | InteriorsFor the renovation, we worked with the team including the builder, architect and of course the home owners to brightening the home with new windows, moving walls all the while keeping the over all scope and budget from not getting out of control. The master bathroom is clean and modern but we also keep the budget in mind and used luxury vinyl flooring with a custom tile detail where it meets with the shower.
We decided to keep the front door and work into the new materials by adding rustic reclaimed wood on the staircase that we hand selected locally.
The project required creativity throughout to maximize the design style but still respect the overall budget since it was a large scape project.
