Light and Airy shiplap bathroom was the dream for this hard working couple. The goal was to totally re-create a space that was both beautiful, that made sense functionally and a place to remind the clients of their vacation time. A peaceful oasis. We knew we wanted to use tile that looks like shiplap. A cost effective way to create a timeless look. By cladding the entire tub shower wall it really looks more like real shiplap planked walls.
Classic Coastal
This master bathroom feels like an oasis. Soft shades of blue and green with coastal nods. Ample vanity space. Individual mirrors and sconces provide lots of soft lighting. Cultured marble top sits atop this furniture-style vanity.

Bathroom Addition: Installed Daltile white beveled 4x16 subway tile floor to ceiling on 2 1/2 walls and worn looking Stonepeak 12x12 for the floor outside the shower and a matching 2x2 for inside the shower, selected the grout and the dark ceiling color to coordinate with the reclaimed wood of the vanity, all of the light fixtures, hardware and accessories have a modern feel to compliment the modern ambiance of the aviator plumbing fixtures and target inspired floating shower shelves and the light fixtures, vanity, concrete counter-top and the worn looking floor tile have an industrial/reclaimed giving the bathroom a sense of masculinity.

If the exterior of a house is its face the interior is its heart.
The house designed in the hacienda style was missing the matching interior.
We created a wonderful combination of Spanish color scheme and materials with amazing distressed wood rustic vanity and wrought iron fixtures.
The floors are made of 4 different sized chiseled edge travertine and the wall tiles are 4"x8" travertine subway tiles.
A full sized exterior shower system made out of copper is installed out the exterior of the tile to act as a center piece for the shower.
The huge double sink reclaimed wood vanity with matching mirrors and light fixtures are there to provide the "old world" look and feel.
Notice there is no dam for the shower pan, the shower is a step down, by that design you eliminate the need for the nuisance of having a step up acting as a dam.

This little coastal bathroom is full of fun surprises. The NativeTrails shell vessel sink is our star. The blue toned herringbone shower wall tiles are interesting and lovely. The blues bring out the blue chips in the terrazzo flooring which reminds us of a sandy beach. The half glass panel keeps the room feeling spacious and open when bathing. The herringbone pattern on the beachy wood floating vanity connects to the shower pattern. We get a little bling with the copper mirror and vanity hardware. Fun baskets add a tidy look to the open linen closet. A once dark and generic guest bathroom has been transformed into a bright, welcoming, and beachy space that makes a statement.

Complete bathroom remodel - The bathroom was completely gutted to studs. A curb-less stall shower was added with a glass panel instead of a shower door. This creates a barrier free space maintaining the light and airy feel of the complete interior remodel. The fireclay tile is recessed into the wall allowing for a clean finish without the need for bull nose tile. The light finishes are grounded with a wood vanity and then all tied together with oil rubbed bronze faucets.

In a small bathroom, we chose to add a focal point with a rustic marble tile cut in a chevron pattern for the shower walls. The large scale lighter toned marble floors create a contrast with the dark brown of the wall stone and vanity. A curbless shower floor and frame-less glass shower wall allows less interruption of space and makes this small bath feel a bit larger.

Full Home Renovation and Addition. Industrial Artist Style.
We removed most of the walls in the existing house and create a bridge to the addition over the detached garage. We created an very open floor plan which is industrial and cozy. Both bathrooms and the first floor have cement floors with a specialty stain, and a radiant heat system. We installed a custom kitchen, custom barn doors, custom furniture, all new windows and exterior doors. We loved the rawness of the beams and added corrugated tin in a few areas to the ceiling. We applied American Clay to many walls, and installed metal stairs. This was a fun project and we had a blast!

This casita was completely renovated from floor to ceiling in preparation of Airbnb short term romantic getaways. The color palette of teal green, blue and white was brought to life with curated antiques that were stripped of their dark stain colors, collected fine linens, fine plaster wall finishes, authentic Turkish rugs, antique and custom light fixtures, original oil paintings and moorish chevron tile and Moroccan pattern choices.
