CairnsCraft Design & RemodelOur client requested a design that reflected their need to renovate their dated bathroom into a transitional floor plan that would provide accessibility and function. The new shower design consists of a pony wall with a glass enclosure that has beautiful details of brushed nickel square glass clamps.
The interior shower fittings entail geometric lines that lend a contemporary finish. A curbless shower and linear drain added an extra dimension of accessibility to the plan. In addition, a balance bar above the accessory niche was affixed to the wall for extra stability.
The shower area also includes a folding teak wood bench seat that also adds to the comfort of the bathroom as well as to the accessibility factors. Improved lighting was created with LED Damp-location rated recessed lighting. LED sconces were also used to flank the Robern medicine cabinet which created realistic and flattering light. This former bungalow went through a renovation 9 years ago that added a garage and a new kitchen and family room. It did not, however, address the clients need for larger bedrooms, more living space and additional bathrooms. The solution was to rearrange the existing main floor and add a full second floor over the old bungalow section. The result is a significant improvement in the quality, style and functionality of the interior and a more balanced exterior. The use of an open tread walnut staircase with walnut floors and accents throughout the home combined with well-placed accents of rock, wallpaper, light fixtures and paint colors truly transformed the home into a showcase.

Amelia WilsonThe owners of this Victorian terrace were recently retired and wanted to update their home so that they could continue to live there well into their retirement, so much of the work was focused on future proofing and making rooms more functional and accessible for them. We replaced the kitchen and bathroom, updated the bedroom and redecorated the rest of the house.
Gilmans Kitchens and BathsThis kitchen remodel started with taking out a dividing wall to open the space and make room for the priority of having an island. With the homeowner loving to cook, the island gave ample work space near the fridge and range. Pull-out spice racks next to the range were added for additional convenience. Decorative lighting above and under the island were added to create an even more welcoming feel, and to highlight the beautiful island cabinetry.
