Charles River Wine CellarsAn instant classic…a custom radius ‘Old World’ door welcomes the owners and guests to this one of a kind French Limestone wine cellar. LED accent lighting showcases the wine bottles flanking the center niche, creating a look and feel that has become a signature of Charles River Wine Cellars. Collaboration with the clients’ interior designer on the lighting fixtures, decorative mosaic, and a custom travertine and polished marble floor ensured this wine cellar would be the envy of any wine collector.

Velin HomesA remodel of the existing basement layout allowed for a separate media room and gave us the opportunity to create this neat little wine room under the stairs. Working with a local metal fabricator, we created custom wine holders to match the modern aesthetic of the home, turning an under-utilized space into a focal point of the home.
L/L Design - Build - FurnishWhen you first walk into the great room, we installed another custom cabinet to be used for snacks and such, as well a family portrait overhead at their favorite winery. I always like to use personal artwork that means something to the client......this one was perfect.

Dresner Design | Chicago Custom Kitchens CabinetsThe clients purchased the home and immediately renovated it before moving in. It was a Gut rehab- down to the studs with some minor drywall left. Dresner Design tore the ceilings out to expose beams and replaced the structure. The kitchen is light and bright with sliders that open to a beautiful patio. A central island with waterfall edge anchors the space with three large pendants over the island. The original space was an “L” shaped layout. New 6” oak flooring was used throughout the home. The owners have a very eclectic art collection that was integrated into their new home.

L/L Design - Build - FurnishOur client purchased this home and realized he was never going to use the formal dining room, and one thing that I highly believe in is we should use our homes the way we want to live in them… Thus his dream of a wine room was soon underway.
We spent many months planning, designing, revising the designs, to make sure this investment was going to be exactly what he wanted.
The results truly tell the story. No detail was left unfinished: from the hand stained walnut cabinets, to the precise countertop ogee edging seamlessly flowing into the walnut cabinet edging. Custom trim at the HVAC ceiling vents as well as the wine cooler vent at the toe kick. Dimmable lighting all around, speakers system, optic clear glass doors with custom family name etching.
This is truly a meeting place, entertaining paradise, and remarkable home wine cellar.
Architectural Plastics, Inc.This acrylic wine cellar concept was created with Cathy and her team at RPCD, Inc. a Dallas, TX based design and master building firm. Architectural Plastics helped them by designing and building the acrylic wine racks and LED back panels for the two cellar spaces.
