G&M Craftsman CabinetsWhen the collaboration between client, builder and cabinet maker comes together perfectly the end result is one we are all very proud of. The clients had many ideas which evolved as the project was taking shape and as the budget changed. Through hours of planning and preparation the end result was to achieve the level of design and finishes that the client, builder and cabinet expect without making sacrifices or going over budget. Soft Matt finishes, solid timber, stone, brass tones, porcelain, feature bathroom fixtures and high end appliances all come together to create a warm, homely and sophisticated finish. The idea was to create spaces that you can relax in, work from, entertain in and most importantly raise your young family in. This project was fantastic to work on and the result shows that why would you ever want to leave home?
MARK IV Builders, IncThis laundry room / mudroom is fitted with storage, counter space, and a large sink. Beadboard is painted to match the cabinets and makes a perfect backsplash.
Waterview KitchensThe ultimate coastal beach home situated on the shoreintracoastal waterway. The kitchen features white inset upper cabinetry balanced with rustic hickory base cabinets with a driftwood feel. The driftwood v-groove ceiling is framed in white beams. he 2 islands offer a great work space as well as an island for socializng.
Grenfell & PeplowWe designed this bespoke traditional laundry for a client with a very long wish list!
1) Seperate laundry baskets for whites, darks, colours, bedding, dusters, and delicates/woolens.
2) Seperate baskets for clean washing for each family member.
3) Large washing machine and dryer.
4) Drying area.
5) Lots and LOTS of storage with a place for everything.
6) Everything that isn't pretty kept out of sight.
Philip Clay Kitchen Designs LTDA beautiful and functional space, this bespoke modern country style utility room was handmade at our Hertfordshire workshop. A contemporary take on a farmhouse kitchen and hand painted in light grey creating a elegant and timeless cabinetry.
Room RedefinedGiving all other items in the laundry area a designated home left this homeowner a great place to fold laundry. Don't you love the folding tray that came with their washer and dryer? Room Redefined decluttered the space, and did a lot of space planning to make sure it had good flow for all of the functions. Intentional use of organization products, including shelf-dividers, shelf-labels, colorful bins, wall organization to take advantage of vertical space, and cubby storage maximize functionality. We supported the process through removal of unwanted items, product sourcing and installation. We continue to work with this family to maintain the space as their needs change over time. Plain & PoshThis stunning home is a combination of the best of traditional styling with clean and modern design, creating a look that will be as fresh tomorrow as it is today. Traditional white painted cabinetry in the kitchen, combined with the slab backsplash, a simpler door style and crown moldings with straight lines add a sleek, non-fussy style. An architectural hood with polished brass accents and stainless steel appliances dress up this painted kitchen for upscale, contemporary appeal. The kitchen islands offers a notable color contrast with their rich, dark, gray finish.
The stunning bar area is the entertaining hub of the home. The second bar allows the homeowners an area for their guests to hang out and keeps them out of the main work zone.
The family room used to be shut off from the kitchen. Opening up the wall between the two rooms allows for the function of modern living. The room was full of built ins that were removed to give the clean esthetic the homeowners wanted. It was a joy to redesign the fireplace to give it the contemporary feel they longed for.
Their used to be a large angled wall in the kitchen (the wall the double oven and refrigerator are on) by straightening that out, the homeowners gained better function in the kitchen as well as allowing for the first floor laundry to now double as a much needed mudroom room as well.
