Located on a large farm in southern Wisconsin, this family retreat focuses on the creation of large entertainment spaces for family gatherings. The main volume of the house is comprised of one space, combining the kitchen, dining, living area and custom bar. All spaces can be enjoyed within a new custom timber frame, reminiscent of local agrarian structures. In the rear of the house, a full size ice rink is situated under an open-air steel structure for full enjoyment throughout the long Wisconsin winter. A large pool terrace and game room round out the entertain spaces of the home.

RAISING TH BAR. The project started with tearing out the existing flooring and crown molding (thin plank, oak flooring and carpet combo that did not fit with their personal style) and adding in this beautiful wide plank espresso colored hardwood to create a more modern, updated look. Next, a shelf to display the liquor collection and a bar high enough to fit their kegerator within. The bar is loaded with all the amenities: tall bar tops, bar seating, open display shelving and feature lighting. Pretty much the perfect place to entertain and celebrate the weekends. MossCreek
A stunning mountain retreat, this custom legacy home was designed by MossCreek to feature antique, reclaimed, and historic materials while also providing the family a lodge and gathering place for years to come. Natural stone, antique timbers, bark siding, rusty metal roofing, twig stair rails, antique hardwood floors, and custom metal work are all design elements that work together to create an elegant, yet rustic mountain luxury home.

MossCreek
Custom designed by MossCreek, this four-seasons resort home in a New England vacation destination showcases natural stone, square timbers, vertical and horizontal wood siding, cedar shingles, and beautiful hardwood floors.
MossCreek's design staff worked closely with the owners to create spaces that brought the outside in, while at the same time providing for cozy evenings during the ski season. MossCreek also made sure to design lots of nooks and niches to accommodate the homeowners' eclectic collection of sports and skiing memorabilia.
The end result is a custom-designed home that reflects both it's New England surroundings and the owner's style.

This stone fireplace surround is he focal point to this room. With storage shelves on either side this fireplace design is the perfect combination of form and function. The stone used in this fireplace façade is Canyon Ledgestone. Stacked stone faux stone fireplaces give the illusion that the fireplace is larger.
