Designing this Mt. Lookout home for our clients was such a treat! The kitchen banquette cushions are pretty much bulletproof, which is a requirement for young families with kids. We designed custom cabinetry for the living room to allow for the display of lots of family photos and storage for games underneath. My personal favorites, the bold navy velvet sofa and black lacquered coffee table were the inspiration for this sleek living room.
Custom design eat-in banquette built-in for kitchen dining area. Full living room design including furniture, rugs, lighting, and accessories. Living room custom design of built-ins and fireplace redesign.

This home was in need of a makeover from top to bottom; it was tired and outdated. The goal was to incorporate a little bit of Cape Cod with some contemporary inspiration to keep things from getting a little boring. The result is warm and inviting. We are currently adding a few new changes to the content of this home and will feature them when they are completed. Very exciting!

A contemporary renovation to suite a growing family. Our clients brief was modern, sleek and functional. With a colour palette of soft greys, whites and warm timber tones this family home is both inviting as well as being low maintenance. The Living Room is the family sanctuary and in here the clients decided to soften the room by incorporating beautiful Easy VJ wall paneling. The feature deep green tone works perfectly with the terrazzo clad fireplace and hardwood mantel.

Original Greene & Greene fireplace was buried in a 1950s remodel, and not discovered until our restoration. Tiles are classic Grueby "caramel" 6x6 tiles. Original firebox had a plain copper header. To cover the damaged Grueby tiles we designed one with "trailing vine" motif to leap at the right moments to cover holes. Design emulates art glass in entry door. Cameron Carothers photo

This living room had to make room for a billiard table as a temporary location.
The oak flooring is cut in a herringbone pattern.
Custom Radiator covers and window trim are exceptional in this house.

This room was inspired by a trip that our lead-designer took to France. The space was to exude a combination of warmth and luxury with satins, velvets and silks. A modern bright color palette was fused with the existing 18th century architectural elements. Favorite treasures from all over the world found special spaces, where they became permanent occupants and overlook many interactions in the great room.
