Villeroy & Boch - Bad & WellnessAußergewöhnlicher könnte ein Hotel kaum noch sein, als das Faralda NDSM Crane Hotel in Amsterdam. Der denkmalgeschützte Verladekran in der ehemaligen Schiffswerft wurde nach der Idee des Bauherrn und Projektentwicklers Edwin Kornmann Rudi in Kooperation mit IAA Architecten Amsterdam und den Ingenieuren von VDNDP bouwingenieurs innovativ restauriert und beherbergt nun drei anspruchsvolle Suiten. In den eleganten Designerbädern kamen verschiedene Design-Kollektionen von Villeroy & Boch zum Einsatz, auf der obersten Terrasse befindet sich sogar ein Whirlpool der SportX-Line – das alles in schwindelerregenden 35 bis 45 Metern Höhe.

Oliver Burns StudioThe lounge area is cosy yet sophisticated, centred around a large statement wall clock. Sofas are upholstered in a shimmering pale grey fabric with crisp blue piping, and dotted with soft velvet cushions in teal and royal blue. Elements of zingy brights, such as the yellow metal tray tables, cushion piping and throws, bring freshness and modernity, as do the flashes of high-shine metal on the radiators.

Studio MilneThe basement of this large family terrace home was dimly lit and mostly unused. The client wanted to transform it into a sumptuous hideaway, where they could escape from family life and chores and watch films, play board games or just cosy up!

We will see more botanic and green tones that take us back to the Art Deco period. Retro harmony appears in the blend of colours like light grey, red, dark coffee and brushed brass. Dusty rose and dusty grey paired with brass for a refined and slightly retro
colour story.
Heavy textiles and colours are mixed together for a rich look playing the undertones of the Art Deco style.
Florals are combined with branches and stem to give a sense of structure to floral patterns, and vary from curvilinear and flowing to stiffer placements.
Poppy Noble Interior DesignThe beam above the fireplace has been stripped back along with the beams to lighten the area and help lift the the ceiling. With the help of a roof window this back area is now flooded with natural light.
