DHV ArchitectsThe kitchen has been connected with the living dining room by reinstating the original timber doors. The neutral colour scheme of the dining / living room visually links it with the adjacent kitchen. The generous seating arrangement around the fireplace allows the family members to connect and relax.
Sheila Rich Interiors, LLCThe mood and character of the great room in this open floor plan is beautifully and classically on display. The furniture, away from the walls, and the custom wool area rug add warmth. The soft, subtle draperies frame the windows and fill the volume of the 20' ceilings.

Amy Carman DesignThe hand-troweled masonry and field stone on this soaring two-story modern, rustic fireplace are inspired by local farm silos. The same stone and technique is repeated on the exterior of this modern lake home. Textured, modern, cozy furnishings create a chic and comfortable spot to relax, enjoy the fire, and take in the lake view.
Haven Design and ConstructionThe grand living room needed large focal pieces, so our design team began by selecting the large iron chandelier to anchor the space. The black iron of the chandelier echoes the black window trim of the two story windows and fills the volume of space nicely. The plain fireplace wall was underwhelming, so our team selected four slabs of premium Calcutta gold marble and butterfly bookmatched the slabs to add a sophisticated focal point. Tall sheer drapes add height and subtle drama to the space. The comfortable sectional sofa and woven side chairs provide the perfect space for relaxing or for entertaining guests. Woven end tables, a woven table lamp, woven baskets and tall olive trees add texture and a casual touch to the space. The expansive sliding glass doors provide indoor/outdoor entertainment and ease of traffic flow when a large number of guests are gathered.
