When Fawn Galli designed this Central Park space, she aimed for "a Milanese apartment with that old-world-meets-midcentury mix," combining timeless elements like our Arabescato Corchia marble, Venetian plaster walls, and blue stained concrete with modern accents like a large industrial disc sconce and a brass vanity. "I like to give a punch and pull back," Galli says of her approach, "Then I surround it with 60 percent gray."

Sustainability meets modern in this bathroom that highlights Fireclay Tile, a perfect compliment to the antique dresser-turned-vanity with a bamboo sink.

Camilla Molders Design
Residential Interior Design & Decoration project by Camilla Molders Design
Bathroom and laundry room in one, this room was designed to seamlessly fit into a home that is full of character art & rich coloured floorboards.
The brief was to include room to display some of the homes collection of Wembley ware figurines as well as house the laundry.
We sourced antique encaustic tiles and used them as a feature tile across the length of the room connecting the vanity to the shower.

TELFORD+BROWN STUDIO ARCHITECTURE
Positioned on a bluff this house looks out to the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area and to Mount Hood beyond. It provides a year-round gathering place for a mid-west couple, their dispersed families and friends.
Attention was given to views and balancing openness and privacy. Common spaces are generous and allow for the interactions of multiple groups. These areas take in the long, dramatic views and open to exterior porches and terraces. Bedrooms are intimate but are open to natural light and ventilation.
The materials are basic: salvaged barn timber from the early 1900’s, stucco on Rastra Block, stone fireplace & garden walls and concrete counter tops & radiant concrete floors. Generous porches are open to the breeze and provide protection from rain and summer heat.
