Used chalk to make the design onto the wall and then hand painted in the corner and throughout the room. Mehndi (Indian Bridal Henna Tatooing). No stencil used. Don't think anyone has come out with one yet.
Visionary Mural Co.
Acrylic on sheetrock, all walls and ceiling of bedroom and 1 wall of bath.
Inspired by the client’s favorite Beatrix Potter stories and illustrations, this mural features a sunrise sky spreading across the walls and ceiling, with a landscape background around all of the walls. The four poster Venetian bronze crib has a silk 3-D canopy fashioned after a hot air balloon with its trompe l’oeil top painted into the ceiling. The fabrics supplied inspiration for the colors of the mural, while the finish and design of the furniture helped determine the intensity of the design. While the Peter Rabbit tales are the inspiration for this mural, the characters have been enlarged, intensified and enhanced from the original softer and more sketch-like watercolor paintings in order to coordinate with the client’s tastes in decor. The mural also includes 3 of the family Pomeranians, as well as the characters Peter Rabbit, Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton Tail, and Mother Rabbit, Jemima Puddleduck, Jeremy Fisher, Owl Brown, Squirrel Nutkin, Mrs. Tiggywinkle, Mr. Todd the fox, and mice from the Tailor of Gloucester.

Girl About The House
After the mural was hung I built a palm tree.
I made a frame from chicken wire and fastened it to the trunking in the corner of the room. I then covered it in wadding after which I covered it with sacking material.I frayed the edges to look like the peeling trunk of a palm tree.
Once I had added branches and coconuts the tree was complete.

Design Concept: "A Safe Haven of Hope". The young client is a romantic at heart; the canopy was designed to enclose her bed with the romance of a wedding gown.

Mom-to-Be loves the book, The Little Prince and wanted her son's nursery to reflect her love of the book and literature in genera. Our talented muralist, Heather Davulcu painted the mural and quotes around the room adding a sense of sweet whimsy to the space. Bench made in the USA furniture in our custom color combination along with beautiful baby blue and khaki bedding tied in well with the book's colors and theme. We saved money by using store bought valances to keep the cost within the client's budget. The empty frames on the wall will be filled with newborn photos of the baby shortly after birth.
