A beautiful lime green, over-dyed area rug anchors this simple and elegant dining room. The lacquered sideboard, more art than furniture, is topped with a collection of unusual ceramic vases and stone planter. A rustic table completes the eclectic look. Photography by John Valls

These young hip professional clients love to travel and wanted a home where they could showcase the items that they've collected abroad. Their fun and vibrant personalities are expressed in every inch of the space, which was personalized down to the smallest details. Just like they are up for adventure in life, they were up for for adventure in the design and the outcome was truly one-of-kind. Photos by Chipper Hatter

"The designer blends modern with tradition and a touch of Hollywood glam in the dining room. A modern drum chandelier with crystal accents took the place of a diminutive flush-mounted fixture. New trim around the perimeter of the ceiling emphasizes the room’s proportions, and a fresh coat of high-gloss white paint on the ceiling reflects natural light from the adjacent room."- Megan Fox, Design NJ Magazine

The rear of the property has been extended to the side and opened up into the garden with aluminium French doors with traditional divisions. The kitchen is Italian, with recessed metal handles and a light coloured marble worktop, which encompasses the freestanding kitchen island on three sides. The fronts have been painted in a Farrow and Ball colour. The floor tiles are hand made, on top of underfloor heating. Two Velux windows give additional light to the side extension roof.
