Farrow & BallThis bohemian outdoor seating area is suited to outdoor entertaining and parties, the seating area is painted in Brassica No.271, while the wooden panels behind are Calke Green No.34.
Achla DesignsThis deck creates an easy flow from the kitchen, outdoors to the deck then the patio, then the garden. Without a railing, it feels like a "raft" floating above the patio and lush greenery of this terraced yard. Made from locally sourced black locust wood and cedar, with steps of granite curb stones salvaged from a New Hampshire highway. The shelves were designed to create open screening from a neighbors yard and driveway and house a changing collection of small plants, artifacts, and stones.
Amber Freda Garden DesignEven the smallest rooftop terrace can be an inviting retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. This garden was designed with softness, femininity, romance, and abundance in mind. A wicker seating area offers comfort and a relaxing place to unwind. The plantings include crape myrtle trees, knockout roses, evergreen junipers, and flowering annuals. All of the planters contain low-voltage up-lighting for a dramatic nighttime effect. Sweetwater DesignThe deck offers a blend of mid-century, new, antique and re-purposed furnishings. A variety of finishes and textures create an eclectic and timeless look. Enjoy morning coffee on the deep seating pieces, sun worship on the sleek concrete chaise, napping on the hammock, cocktails at the butcher block bar and fine dining under the sail all while embracing nature.
Violaine Abric HomestylistInserite tante piante di fiori per dare il tocco di colore, come i gerani classici o i parigini di tipo ricadenti, surfinie anch’esse di tipo ricadente, pansè, garofani… e piante aromatiche per i profumi, basilico, menta (della quale ne esistono mille varianti, addirittura c’è né una che sa di limone, la “menta bergamotto”), prezzemolo, timo, salvia e tutto ciò che vi può fare da supporto in cucina. E perché no? Qualche pianta di pomodori, zucchine, melanzane… così da avere anche la propria coltivazione bio in balcone. Un consiglio spassionato, abolite le siepi di finta edera!
MAV Design Concepts LLCThe Deck and Patio renovation to Ravi's existing home is mostly driven by functionality. Ravi is a professional chef and avid gardner. His vision for the new deck was to have full space for entertainment and the only staircase the property can accommodate is a spiral one. He also needed a storage space of 4' x 8' for garden tools.
