New under stair wine storage, cabinets, internal cladding and balustrading have completely changed this entrance. Just tiles to go

A focus of this design was integrating the inside-outside living, a perfect space for entertainers. To achieve this we created a seamless flow through the kitchen, dining and living, with retractable glass doors. These doors opened through to the outdoor dining and living with views of the swimming pool. The grand entrance with a two storey void and floating staircase was a real statement.

The entry hallway sets a welcoming and timeless tone with a careful balance of historic character and fresh elegance. A graceful arched window with classic leaded glass details becomes a focal point, softly diffusing natural light into the space and casting patterned shadows across the floor.
The original timber staircase, restored with a new neutral runner trimmed in dark edging, connects tradition with subtle modernity. Crisp white spindles and walls provide contrast and clarity, letting the warm tones of the honey-coloured timber flooring speak for themselves.
Delicate architectural features — from the moulded cornicing to the cast-iron decorative radiator — quietly reinforce the home’s original fabric, while small updates like the glass wall light and ceramic plant pots on the sill inject personal charm.
Visible beyond the stairwell is a glimpse of a more contemporary intervention, where brick and glass hint at the transition from heritage to modern living spaces.

A sophisticated palette of natural shades paints a smooth color story that runs right through from the modern living area and minimalist hallway design, to the decor of three stunning bedrooms and fabulous granite stone covered bathrooms with Onyx details. In fact, marble is the major player in the main area of the home to really ramp up the level of luxe.
