Studio Black InteriorsLocated in the Canberra suburb of Old Deakin, this established home was originally built in 1951 by Keith Murdoch to house journalists of The Herald and Weekly Times Limited (owned by the predecessor of NewsCorp Australia). With a rich history, it has been renovated to maintain its classic character and charm for the new young family that lives there. This hallway has 100% wool carpet, aged brass handles and wain scotting on al the walls.

Roger Oates DesignFinchley Stone in 100% wool flatweave. A contemporary symmetrical phased border design. The nature of the flatweave gives the designs added texture and the suppleness means they can be fitted on to almost all staircases - straight or winding.
The flatweave runners are woven and hand-finished in the UK using traditional techniques.
K Design and Build LtdThis project was to turn a dated bungalow into a modern house. The objective was to create upstairs living space with a bathroom and ensuite to master.
We installed underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and bathroom. A beautiful new oak staircase was fitted with glass balustrading. To enhance space in the ensuite we installed a pocket door. We created a custom new front porch designed to be in keeping with the new look. Finally, fresh new rendering was installed to complete the house.
This is a modern luxurious property which we are proud to showcase.
V.E. THOMANThe L shape hallway has a red tartan stretched form molding to chair rail. This type of installation is called clean edge wall upholstery. Hickory wood planking in the lower part of the wall and fabric covered wall in the mid-section. The textile used is a Scottish red check fabric. Simple sconces light up the hallway.
Bean InteriorsThe first floor landing displays some of the clients beloved treasures collected during their travels, the core palette of muted colours run throughout the house, Ammonite by Farrow & Ball was used for the walls, matched with a warm grey wool carpet.
Apple Tree Homes IncLoft playroom with exposed reclaimed beams and horizontal stainless railing to exemplify the industrial farmhouse feel of the home.
Fishpools Furniture Store & Interior DesignersA careful yet fresh colour palette creates a series of bright and modern rooms for this luxury home. Ornaments and plants add personality with sumptuous materials used for a sophisticated finish.

Our design intent here was to create a home that felt harmonious and luxurious, yet livable and inviting. This home was refurbished with only the finest finishes and custom design details throughout. We hand selected decor items, designed furniture pieces to suit this home and commissioned an artist to provide us with the perfect art pieces to compliment.
