UserThe open courtyard was enclosed by a previous owner that was sensitive to the existing design of the house but the wood was left bare and dated the courtyard enclosure. We painted it bright white. We covered the large windows with sun shade fabric screens that kept the courtyard from getting hot and could be removed during the winter for maximum solar gain.
Sweet Home of MineI added an exposed wooden beam across the top of this room to give the room a natural element to make you feel like you were outside. Since this room was an addition you can see the original exterior brick surrounding the fireplace. I was able to open the fireplace into this room creating a two sided fireplace and took the red/yellow brick and painted it a natural cream color to compliment the wall color I chose. Painting the brick a flat color made it look and feel more natural. You could stand all the way at the back of the home and see the front door from this room as it is a very open concept home.

Westbury Garden RoomsSet comfortably in the Northamptonshire countryside, this family home oozes character with the addition of a Westbury Orangery. Transforming the southwest aspect of the building with its two sides of joinery, the orangery has been finished externally in the shade ‘Westbury Grey’. Perfectly complementing the existing window frames and rich Grey colour from the roof tiles. Internally the doors and windows have been painted in the shade ‘Wash White’ to reflect the homeowners light and airy interior style.
Harth BuildersThis sunroom used to be double in size. Our clients felt the space was underutilized and we agreed. By taking half of the existing sunroom, we were able to create a more open kitchen and nook and relocate the first floor powder room.
