フリースペースは、お子様の遊び場やスタディースペースとして、いずれはワンフロア生活のための寝室として、などライフスタイルの変化に応じて様々な用途に使えるようになっています。
LDKやフリースペースのどこからでも庭の緑を楽しめる空間配置とし、庭とのつながりの中で｢ゆとり｣を感じられる設計としました。
また、ファミリー玄関を設けて帰宅や買い物用を重視した動線計画や、充実したランドリールームなども特徴のひとつです。
Sally Scott Interior DesignerAs in most homes, the family room and kitchen is the hub of the home. Walls and ceiling are papered with a look like grass cloth vinyl, offering just a bit of texture and interest. Flanking custom Kravet sofas provide a comfortable place to talk to the cook! The game table expands for additional players or a large puzzle. The mural depicts the over 50 acres of ponds, rolling hills and two covered bridges built by the home owner.
シーズ・アーキスタディオ玄関と浴室の間にある和室は泊り客がある場合は客間となり、日常では洗濯物のアイロン掛けなど家事室にもなります。いろんな使い方ができるのが畳の間のよいところです。床柱にはコブシの皮付き丸太を使っています。
北野彰作建築研究所あまり無いアングルですがカメラマンさんにお願いして真上に向いたアングルを撮って頂きました。設計時にイメージしていた天井伏図の考え方が一目瞭然に現われているからです。リノベーション前はゴチャゴチャした普通に良く有る小屋組みでしたが、どうすればシンプル且つ個性的に見せるかが設計のポイントです。
