Village and Coast, LLCFamily living room with a traditional beachy style. Neutral corner sofa accented with varying shades of blue in the rug, walls and ottoman. Custom built-in storage bench and floating shelves flank left side of traditional gas fireplace with white molding mantle.
Bohannon Design TeamSuch a fun lake house vibe - you would never guess this was a dark garage before! A cozy electric fireplace in the entertainment wall on the right adds ambiance. Barn doors hide the TV during wild ping pong matches. Storage closet and kitchenette to the right are helpful for entertaining.
Curtain CallMy client has a large family room overlooking the water. The huge windows and sliding door are facing south. Light control is maintained with vertical blinds. We replaced the traditional valances with box pleat valances in a contemporary print. The colors are subtle, white, blue and purple. A 21 foot valance faces the water and there are 6 foot valances on the adjacent walls. The valance has transformed and updated the room.
