J&B Custom Built Homes, Inc.This custom estate was built on a beautiful 12 acre lot just outside the city of Frederick, MD. This was a custom home with an extra large 2 car detached garage. The home is 2000 square feet all on one level with a walk out basement. It has a large composite deck with an attached covered screened in porch. The screened in porch will be the first place to go from a busy day at work to take in the beauty of the mountains and let the stress melt away. The charcoal gray exterior turned out beautiful with the stone selection. It all fits very well on top of the mountain.
StoneCraft, LLCThis is what manufactured stone veneer can look like in the hands of our skilled craftsmen. When time and care are taken the faux product can look strikingly realistic. Each stone is tightly coursed and perfectly fit. A darker mortar joint is used to define and delineate the outlines. A subtle mix of several shape and color groups adds variety and authenticity while staying true to the natural stones of the region.
Dynamic Garage DoorThis Tuscan style home located in Newport Beach, CA was missing the focal point of entry which was the entry door. It was incorrectly fitted with a Spanish Colonial style by the builder which was made of a less-than-adequate quality thus it became unusable after only a few years of use.
The home itself had a rich Tuscan architectural flavor that was begging for an authentically designed entry door that would bring it justice. After extensive research of real Tuscan historical homes, our design team came up with a wonderful entry door design that would complement the home's intended style. The main focus was to maintain that old world charm of historic Tuscan style homes with heavily aged wooden doors and authentically handmade hardware that would not only be decorative but functional.
The entry door was beautifully crafted by our finish carpenters in reclaimed oak on the exterior and smooth, clear alder on the inside to complement the interior of the home just as well as the exterior. Finishing the exterior of the door in a dark stain tied in well with the bronze lanterns and iron work throughout the home's exterior. Custom designed pull rings were hand-forged and are unique to this particular entry door project.

Quarry MillThe Quarry Mill's Smokey Gold real thin stone veneer creates an intricate and stunning exterior wall. Smokey Gold real stone veneer is a natural low height ledgestone. The stone itself is a natural quartzite and the thin veneer is cut from the edges of the sheets of stone as they are quarried. The process of sawing the raw stone into natural thin veneer turns the diamond blade bright red due to heat that is generated and the density of the natural quartzite. Smokey gold is predominantly gold but also showcases some grey and white pieces giving it a subtle range of color. The textures are mainly smooth with some rippling. Although all of our natural stone veneers are high density, low water absorption, and approved for use in all climates, Smokey Gold is exceptionally hard and sturdy.
