Emerick ArchitectsUpon entering the penthouse the light and dark contrast continues. The exposed ceiling structure is stained to mimic the 1st floor's "tarred" ceiling. The reclaimed fir plank floor is painted a light vanilla cream. And, the hand plastered concrete fireplace is the visual anchor that all the rooms radiate off of. Tucked behind the fireplace is an intimate library space.

With gypsum ceiling, vitrified flooring, long snug L shaped sofa, a huge airy terrace , muted colours and quirky accents, the living room is an epitome of contemporary luxury, use of Indian art and craft, the terrace with gorgeous view of endless greenery, is a perfect indulgence! Our client says ‘’ sipping on a cup of coffee surrounded by lush greenery is the best way to recoup our energies and get ready to face another day’’.The terrace is also a family favourite on holidays, as all gather here for impromptu dinners under the stars. Dual Concept DesignA pop of yellow brings positivity and warmth to this space, making the room feel happy.
J. Stephens InteriorsThis large classic family room was thoroughly redesigned into an inviting and cozy environment replete with carefully-appointed artisanal touches from floor to ceiling. Master millwork and an artful blending of color and texture frame a vision for the creation of a timeless sense of warmth within an elegant setting. To achieve this, we added a wall of paneling in green strie and a new waxed pine mantel. A central brass chandelier was positioned both to please the eye and to reign in the scale of this large space. A gilt-finished, crystal-edged mirror over the fireplace, and brown crocodile embossed leather wing chairs blissfully comingle in this enduring design that culminates with a lacquered coral sideboard that cannot but sound a joyful note of surprise, marking this room as unwaveringly unique.Peter Rymwid
