A J Miller Landscape Architecture PLLCThe rear garden now has a level lawn area for a young family to play in. New trees and shrubs have been planted for year round interest and future screening. The vegetable-herb garden in raised galvanized troughs provides hours of fun for the young children.
Roland Oehme Landscape ArchitectureThis project is a townhome in Baltimore, so it’s urban. It consists of a small front garden, sidewalk planting, and rear garden. I designed and installed the plantings for all of the areas. Our team also installed two rain barrels, one in the front and one in the rear. Our team first removed a portion of the sidewalk in front in order to create a new garden bed. We edged the bed with granite cobblestones. I designed a mix of beautiful flowering perennials and also an herb garden in the front bed. For the rear garden I designed a native grass lawn for the bench area and a shade garden.

UserElizabeth Leonard- The home owner wanted to squeeze in a veggie garden without sacrificing too much of her yard where her children play, as well as securing the garden from the local deer population. For an added touch we planted deer resistant herbs and ornamentals surrounding the enclosure. We succeeded in providing an aesthetically pleasing garden that produced enough for this small family, by using the space she had effectively. The deer fencing blends into the environment while securing her harvest . All while staying within her budget.
