Landscape Logic
Landscape Logic created a very colorful but drought-tolerant and low-water use garden in the front yard. It has accent landscape lighting to showcase the plants and trees at night.
EcoLawn SB
This Montecito front yard was transformed with artificial turf, boulder edging, planting, landscape lighting and more. Synthetic grass was cut to fit around a boulder edging. The boulders were from the mudslide tragedy in 2018. This landscape was rebuilt and renewed. Landscaping and stone edging surround this loop driveway.
Conscious Environments Inc.
A simple lawn and landscape is delineated with garden walls built out of a recycled concrete patio. Concrete mow curbs separate lawn from landscape and integrated natural boulders add to the visual interest of this garden.
FormLA Landscaping
Because native gardens need no pesticides or fertilizers, edible plants can be planted within native gardens. Even in this healthy environment, raised garden beds make edibles easy to find, tend and harvest.

SCJ Studio Landscape Architecture
In south Seattle, a tiny backyard garden needed a makeover to add usability and create a sitting area for entertaining. Raised garden beds for edible plants provide the transition between the existing deck and new patio below, eliminating the need for a railing. A firepit provides the focal point for the new patio. Angles create drama and direct flow to the steel stairs and gate.

Homefront Farmers
Split rail or post and rail fencing is a great option when you want to add a touch of rustic charm to your yard. We have a system that incorporates long-lasting cedar fencing, durable, attractive galvanized "cage mesh," below ground pest barrier, and raised beds filled with balanced organic soil. Beautiful, protected, and productive--that's our idea of a great garden.

Young lavender bushes line the pathway of natural buff sandstone pathway, that when fully grown will create a low hedge. The raised veggie beds are irrigated and easy to maintain from all sides.

This project represents the evolution of a 10 acre space over more than three decades. It began with the pool and space around it. As the vegetable garden grew, the orchard was established and the display gardens blossomed. The prairie was restored and a kitchen was added to complete the space. Although, it continues to change with a pond next on the design plan. Photo credit: Linda Oyama Bryan
