Snohomish Remodel
Snohomish Remodel
Kimberlee Marie InteriorsKimberlee Marie Interiors
Our Seattle studio designed this stunning 5,000+ square foot Snohomish home to make it comfortable and fun for a wonderful family of six. On the main level, our clients wanted a mudroom. So we removed an unused hall closet and converted the large full bathroom into a powder room. This allowed for a nice landing space off the garage entrance. We also decided to close off the formal dining room and convert it into a hidden butler's pantry. In the beautiful kitchen, we created a bright, airy, lively vibe with beautiful tones of blue, white, and wood. Elegant backsplash tiles, stunning lighting, and sleek countertops complete the lively atmosphere in this kitchen. On the second level, we created stunning bedrooms for each member of the family. In the primary bedroom, we used neutral grasscloth wallpaper that adds texture, warmth, and a bit of sophistication to the space creating a relaxing retreat for the couple. We used rustic wood shiplap and deep navy tones to define the boys' rooms, while soft pinks, peaches, and purples were used to make a pretty, idyllic little girls' room. In the basement, we added a large entertainment area with a show-stopping wet bar, a large plush sectional, and beautifully painted built-ins. We also managed to squeeze in an additional bedroom and a full bathroom to create the perfect retreat for overnight guests. For the decor, we blended in some farmhouse elements to feel connected to the beautiful Snohomish landscape. We achieved this by using a muted earth-tone color palette, warm wood tones, and modern elements. The home is reminiscent of its spectacular views – tones of blue in the kitchen, primary bathroom, boys' rooms, and basement; eucalyptus green in the kids' flex space; and accents of browns and rust throughout. ---Project designed by interior design studio Kimberlee Marie Interiors. Aptly titled Artist Haven, our Aspen studio designed this private home in Aspen's West End for an artist-client who expresses the concept of "less is more." In this extensive remodel, we created a serene, organic foyer to welcome our clients home. We went with soft neutral palettes and cozy furnishings. A wool felt area rug and textural pillows make the bright open space feel warm and cozy. The floor tile turned out beautifully and is low maintenance as well. We used the high ceilings to add statement lighting to create visual interest. Colorful accent furniture and beautiful decor elements make this truly an artist's retreat. --- Joe McGuire Design is an Aspen and Boulder interior design firm bringing a uniquely holistic approach to home interiors since 2005. For this stunning home, our St. Pete studio created a bold, bright, balanced design plan to invoke a sophisticated vibe. Our love for the color blue was included in the carefully planned color scheme of the home. We added a gorgeous blue and white rug in the entryway to create a fabulous first impression. The adjacent living room got soft blue accents creating a cozy ambience. In the formal dining area, we added a beautiful wallpaper with fun prints to complement the stylish furniture. Another lovely wallpaper with fun blue and yellow details creates a cheerful ambience in the breakfast corner near the beautiful kitchen. The bedrooms have a neutral palette creating an elegant and relaxing vibe. A stunning home bar with black and white accents and stylish wooden furniture adds an elegant flourish. --- Pamela Harvey Interiors offers interior design services in St. Petersburg and Tampa, and throughout Florida's Suncoast area, from Tarpon Springs to Naples, including Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and Sarasota. Our Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom. The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space. In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. The large mint cabinets add a lighter touch to the space. --- Project designed by the Atomic Ranch featured modern designers at Breathe Design Studio. Downstairs the entertainment continues with a wine room, full bar, theatre, and golf simulator. Sound-proofing and Control-4 automation ease comfort and operation, so the media room can be optimized to allow multi-generation entertaining or optimal sports/event venue enjoyment. A bathroom off the social space ensures rambunctious entertainment is contained to the basement… and to top it all off, the room opens onto a landscaped putting green. photography: Paul Grdina

Everything HomeEverything Home
The new construction luxury home was designed by our Carmel design-build studio with the concept of 'hygge' in mind – crafting a soothing environment that exudes warmth, contentment, and coziness without being overly ornate or cluttered. Inspired by Scandinavian style, the design incorporates clean lines and minimal decoration, set against soaring ceilings and walls of windows. These features are all enhanced by warm finishes, tactile textures, statement light fixtures, and carefully selected art pieces. In the living room, a bold statement wall was incorporated, making use of the 4-sided, 2-story fireplace chase, which was enveloped in large format marble tile. Each bedroom was crafted to reflect a unique character, featuring elegant wallpapers, decor, and luxurious furnishings. The primary bathroom was characterized by dark enveloping walls and floors, accentuated by teak, and included a walk-through dual shower, overhead rain showers, and a natural stone soaking tub. An open-concept kitchen was fitted, boasting state-of-the-art features and statement-making lighting. Adding an extra touch of sophistication, a beautiful basement space was conceived, housing an exquisite home bar and a comfortable lounge area. ---Project completed by Wendy Langston's Everything Home interior design firm, which serves Carmel, Zionsville, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville, and Indianapolis. Our Boulder studio designed this luxe modern home with fabulous furnishings and decor that are in sync with the natural beauty of Colorado. In this foyer, the large glass door pivots, and as light pours in, it mellows the hemlock-paneled wall and white oak floors. The glow of the Noguchi lantern above, the soft Moroccan runner under foot, and the woven cognac leather bench all create a welcoming entry to this modern mountain home. The golden hillside grasses inspired the warm tones we chose for furnishings, including the custom white oak dining table with steel wishbone legs and the handmade console cabinet. A little bit of a lavender hue in the bedrooms relates to the lavender and sage that grows so beautifully in Colorado. We used a classic black and white combination in the kitchen, creating an elegant, sophisticated vibe. For the home bar, we followed a similar scheme with white quartz countertops contrasting with black-stained fluted paneling. Oak flooring, brass accents, and Italian bar stools by Amura create a warm and inviting corner to settle in for a drink. --- Joe McGuire Design is an Aspen and Boulder interior design firm bringing a uniquely holistic approach to home interiors since 2005. A truly special property located in a sought after Toronto neighbourhood, this large family home renovation sought to retain the charm and history of the house in a contemporary way. The full scale underpin and large rear addition served to bring in natural light and expand the possibilities of the spaces. A vaulted third floor contains the master bedroom and bathroom with a cozy library/lounge that walks out to the third floor deck - revealing views of the downtown skyline. A soft inviting palate permeates the home but is juxtaposed with punches of colour, pattern and texture. The interior design playfully combines original parts of the home with vintage elements as well as glass and steel and millwork to divide spaces for working, relaxing and entertaining. An enormous sliding glass door opens the main floor to the sprawling rear deck and pool/hot tub area seamlessly. Across the lawn - the garage clad with reclaimed barnboard from the old structure has been newly build and fully rough-in for a potential future laneway house.
