Dion Seminara ArchitectureThe proposal included an extension to the rear of the home and a period renovation of the classic heritage architecture of the existing home. The features of Glentworth were retained, it being a heritage home being a wonderful representation of a classic early 1880s Queensland timber colonial residence.
The site has a two street frontage which allowed showcasing the period renovation of the outstanding historical architectural character at one street frontage (which accords with the adjacent historic Rosalie townscape) – as well as a stunning contemporary architectural design viewed from the other street frontage.
The majority of changes were made to the rear of the house, which cannot be seen from the Rosalie Central Business Area.
Interior Changes home design & consultingThe pit group makes the lower level lounge a great hanging out zone. All of the custom walnut paneling was made by the custom cabinet company to tie in with the bar.

Chic By Design, LLCA motorized traverse rod was used to enclose the theater room. Professional theater velvet fabric with embroidered tape lined the drapes for blackout control. The walls have a hand applied specialty paint finish in the motif of ruched velvet. Wall sconces are by Visual Comfort. Motorized theater seating is by Fjords. Rug by Roya Rugs.
GramophoneThis French manor-style estate was originally designed for the Baltimore County family in 1993. In 2017 Jenkins Baer Associates took on extensive renovations to the interior design of the home.
The project then came together with Gramophone's expertise in creating the perfect Home Theater in the basement. Additionally, our team installed lighting control, shading, and automation throughout the estate for the most convenient all-around experience.
CornflakeWe were pleased to complete the first residential IMAX in Europe. In detail, this luxurious 15-seat theatre has three tiers of seating and a 5.5m wide floor-to-ceiling curved IMAX screen. The reclining seats are equipped with professional 3D glasses (in a range of adult and child sizes), while a Dual 4K (2D/3D) projector is teamed with IMAX’s proprietary sound system to deliver impressive images and sound. The cinema is also completely sound-proofed to mitigate noise being heard elsewhere within the property.
